I know this sounds a bit unnecessary, but would you prefer to buy the McLaren F1 or the Zonda F?

Hi! I don' t know if it was asked before but: are there projects to add replays in RR3?

For me, its the Zonda F. It just comes across as more grippy for me.

If you mean replays like they had in RR2, I know they are looking into it but I believe it bloats up the file size quite a lot so I don't see it happening. Its possible if they can get it down to a manageable size but not any time soon.

    Look out your window.
It's a matter of preference. Zonda has easier handling I think. I prefer the McLaren, probably for that reason.

While that may be true careful driving renders that a moot point.

However, upgrade costs and minimum PR mean one does absolutely pay more. And the frequency of repairs needed and resultant wait times are vastly increased.

I'm playing both the 1.0 and 1.2 build on two devices and I'm making far more on the 1.0 build on the lower tiers than I am in the higher tiers of 1.2.

There appears to be no winning scaling to upgrade cost.

I'm not really going to debate it so I tell you what, play the exact same races on the two builds for a week and consider you're starting point zero cash.

After a week of racing the same races with the same cars, using a mix of high end, middle and low end cars and conducting the repairs and servicing required to have them all back to 100% peak level at the end of the week on both builds, get back to me with the accumulated funds and we'll see.

And using just the low end cars will not give a balanced return so it has to be as full a range of vehicle tiers as possible to get accurate results.

I know what my results were so I feel no need to debate the matter further.

In relation to pr, that's only a numerical reference point to what would be required to win. If you were lower than the current pr number upgrade wise on the older versions, you weren't going to win anyway because the opponent AI is higher the further you get in to a series anyway. That's always been the case. It just happens to be the presented in a different way now.
Before you just upgraded and hoped for the best. Now you have a clear indicator of the required upgrade level.

In relation to actually earning cash, doesn't anybody seem to understand that the mailbox not only proves a useful quick race option but is also a huge money earner, a very useful way of "grinding" the necessary cash?
I may have 200 hours put in to the game but the usefulness of the mailbox should be obvious to anyone.

I don't understand how some people are so blind in seeing the rewards now are less profitable than before. I was earning about 50k with a repair bill of at most of 7k. Now I'm earning about 20k with a repair bill of 2k plus another subtraction of close to 7k because of some sort of glitch.
After the update I've noticed new hackers on my existing friend list.
I don't notice any of the mailbox races to be of any more value than picking and choosing.

    Nobody's blind.
We're just not half as reactionary or prone to exaggeration as others.
We also take into account other rewards.

If it works for us, it works.
Attempting to convince us otherwise is a fruitless exercise just as even posting this at all is for me.
I would simply have deleted it by now if I was in the same position and stance as you two rather than attempt to bring others with me and declare myself right.

If the game causes you guys such distress, hold down on the icon until it shakes and then press the x that appears on the top left. Problem solved.

If however, you continue to play it, well then you're just making completely contradictory statements and suffering some form of cognitive dissonance that I don't, or even want to, understand.

Don't reply. I'm not engaging any further on this debate.

There is a delay for the rear view option; the previous update was instant.
The BMW gt3 has a pixelated rear view mirror in cockpit view.

I have put a similar amount of time in and have raced identical race on version 1.0 vs 1.2. Having all 21 friends beaten raises the money far in excess of any clean race winnings or reduced repair cost (but increased wait time). Friends bonus is now capped.

You may not want to debate the point but that is not a rebuttal.

    It wasn't meant to be.
I was merely intimating my intent to simply not engage or rebute anymore.

You have your view. I have mine. That's really it.
You're not going to change my mind. I'm not going to change yours.

The futility in debating or engaging further should be obvious.

It seems pretty clear that some love this, and some hate it. Probably agreeing to disagree is best, and less frustrating in the end.

    Crashing?

So in both the Pure Stock Challenge and Road Car International, the Time Rial, both with the Ford Focus RS crashes on me.

Both on iPhone 5 and iPad 4. Yes, I am on the latest iOS, and rebooted both devices. And am 100% in ever other event. But it crashes for me. I searched, and did not see anyone else mention this. So not sure why it is affecting me, but wanted to post this.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Still irritated at the £ vs R$ ratio in which i'd love to reward the devs financially but at least give me a reasonable reward

Now very much hit a pay-wall i'm simply not willing, able or prepared to circumvent .... pay

Basically i'll never unlock the 'Prestige Power' or 'Supercar Duel' challenges
I'm at 8 trophies needed to unlock the 1st but i need more PR points on a car and cannot achieve that through reasonable means.

Talking about needing 60 gold or so just to get there ... and so many of my other cars now require 100 gold apiece to get top upgrades...

In reality right now if you gave me 500 gold i could spend it just getting cars upgraded .... i'm not willing to pay £34 in real money to unlock a tier of cars which will then probably cost me several million in R$ and require another few hundred gold to upgrade

Like my Porsche 918 Spyder Concept..... i have 13 of 24 upgrades ... to get the next set its about 1 million R$ and 150g ... for one car and one more set of upgrades

Prices at the upper end are now prohibitive, still playing the game almost daily and are chipping away at the races i can do with reasonable outlay and trying to save what i can but i wish i could have paid the Devs £10 - £15 for the game and gotten the whole content unlockable reasonably

I can't support this business model no matter how much fun i've had from it... just doesn't feel right.

I remember at release Pocketgamer or someone else calculated what it would cost in real-world money to buy/upgrade all cars and 100% the game. It was something over $500.

That's profane. I don't care how you spin it, no videogame is worth $500, hell, many iOS devices cost less than that. That's taking advantage of the many people who have the "must 100% all my games!" mentality, or of some kid who has access to their parents' iTunes account.

I popped in this thread and noticed more discussion about the doling of cash and upgrade costs, so I thought I'd throw in my $.02. It's sad to see what could've been such a fun game ruined by greedy business practices. Even Gameloft got it right with the Asphalt series.

    Whatever. That's life for you.
