After playing for a while, this feels like a premium game. The services are gone, money grinding is quick and, from the moment you have 5+ cars, the timers are pointless. In the end you get a true game experience for free. To be honest, you couldn't ask for more at any price. Congratulations Firemonkeys!!
The update makes it feel like Real Racing again. The redesign of the UI is pure Real Racing, reminiscent of 1 and 2. Also like the fact that the new series are only unlocked by playing, not paying. Overall this update was more of a game changer then a standard update, very happy indeed.
They ruined the hood cam. The camera is now pushed far too forward that the hood appears short and covers almost half of the screen. Before you could see the whole hood and still see the tracks. They just ruined it. If not that i am enjoying the AMGs (could care less about Bentleys) i am thinking of reinstalling the 1.1.12 version as i saved the ipa before updating. The update is great but please give us back the old hood cam as an option.
Can't stop to play it, the game really pushes the player to continuing play, i'm rewarding more than 130k in three hours, this was a big surprise cause now i don't feel anymore the freemium aspect so much hated when the game was released, at the moment this is the best drive experience on iOS, looks like to play GT on PS3! ...the cherry on the pie would be to add new tracks and different weather conditions on the next update...
Hey guys! Thanks to everyone that has provided feedback in this thread so far, we really appreciate it. We're taking it all on board and it'll help influence further additions and changes in future updates. Yep, we've got plenty more coming
Thats great to hear, since this last update I have played alot. The way you unlock cars is kind of weird now but I am working through it. EDIT: Anyone else have sometimes when TSM friends arent available to race even though you are on wifi?
All the feedback about the update sounds really positive. I'll re download the bastard and give it another spin
Didn't this update supposedly improve AI? So far, it still seems to be that if you're in the space an AI driver wants to be, you are screwed. I'm constantly being rammed off the track and rear-ended. And again, I can't stress how much of a step back the unlock progression changes are.
It depends on what forum you read, happy campers over here, but universally hated on the FireMonkeys forums. I personally think its great.
Hello everybody, I have been a long time Real Racing 3 racer, and I want to post some of my impressions here. Please tell me if you agree or disagree with them, especially the negatives. Positive: - Less "robotic" AI. They now make "mistakes" and you can see them running off track for example. I can also see more overtaking and aggression between AI drivers. - Less aggressive AI towards you. They ram me from the back less often even when they get up and close. Negative: - The service bar is ridiculous. In many cases, it goes flat to zero in 2 races (I am talking about the faster cars)!!! #%@$ - Time trials are also useless. You can cut the track to your way up. All the top times are basically frauds. Besides Melbourne of course. I can personally confirm this. - Messy, meesy career progression. You've got restrictions here, there and everywhere. I am all for a proper career progression, but this is just some messy sh!t. - Championships are rated on difficulty, but this is not the AI difficulty...it is merely the difficulty in handling the cars as they get faster. I have some more but can't recall. Will add them in another post in the future.
I am on the overall not fond of the update. It really seems like they made it more difficult to actually race (not referring to the difficulty of races), and that they are pushing IAPs much more than before.
