I don't think there is any loss...the graphics look exactly the same, the gameplay feels exactly the same, and we get more content...probably some redundant code or some compression...nothing noticeable And anyways...I just caught a car unannounced in the update!! But we can't buy it it's the Corvette ZR-1, but it isn't mentioned anywhere in the game, and yet it appears!

Yes, I can confirm that the ZR-1 appears at least in the Modern Sports Classics event. Guess the cat's out of the bag! And now, perhaps I understand why an event I had at 100% now shows as only 97% completed. It's an event with 3 cars, and the 'Vette will surely be the fourth in that event, therefore the 3% of the ZR-1 showcase. The same happened in V8 Muscle Hustle (100% > 97%) but that was because of the introduction of the Camaro to that series.
Anybody? I Download the game from no account and i want to have the game on my us account. Can i do it without problemas with this cloud save?
three more things should been updated a repair all button a turn on/off TSM button we have to wait real time for service and delivery to make it "Real" Racing so at least let us have a chance to start 1st (Did you see that stupid starting position in Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca? Did you???)

Oh no, crashing means maybe data corruption will happen. Oh so much grinding to lose. This is not good news.
I too want a turn off TSM, so it won't download avatars and also, hate all the hackers. Tsm is largely worthless to me. Really would like true multiplayer and icade core joystick support.
Am I going to be the only one here who is going to chime on how GOOD this update is? Reading Sam's post, it seems that I made the right choice by switching to the EU download when it came out versus sticking to the NZ version I was playing prior. This update is especially highly recommended for iPad 3 users! Take my word for it! The performance improvements are incredible and exactly what I hoped for. Jittering aside caused by loading TSM data in the very beginning, the engine itself renders everything at a nice FPS now. In fact, it's so good that I actually switched back to my trusty cockpit view. Something that was just too unplayable before (used the bonnet cam instead.) Of course, this major performance bump comes at a price. Make no mistake. It's very evident that the high resolution / fidelity of the track (and grass) textures have been greatly reduced. Not a big deal though, especially when switching from the low to the ground bonnet cam (back) to cockpit view. You will see the difference very clearly after finishing a drag race. It's one of the few -if not only- place left where it loads the high fidelity track texture. Furthermore, I have noticed that Cloudcell has been working in the background before the update. When I accessed the feature, it told me that the last update was 11 days ago. Considering I have been playing this game for over 6 weeks, I'd say that those losing progress should check this feature even if they haven't manually synced as of yet. The UI enhancements are quite welcome. Especially the little detail that shows your car model displayed in red under events when it's under repair so that you don't have to cross check with the repair list in the top left all the time. I can live with the Upgrade menu that keeps popping up. It works too: I've started spending more money on upgrades then I did before lol! If you downloaded this from the EU AppStore, you should be fine. The performance improvements are totally worth it.
I agree this update is excellent. Hey does anyone know what the "twice the value..." Is in the top left corner, I have done an elimination and auto cross and it was on both these events, but I'm not sure what it represents.
Pony, good finally hearing some good news about the update, really glad to hear if the ipad 3 version is even better cause I have an ipad 3. Man, forgetting if I have the NZ or US version, actually I think I have the NZ version on cause I remember night getting the us version. So my question is, if I do the cloud save in the NZ version, and download the US version, can I restore everything? Anyone in my boat that has done it ok? And really glad to hear about the 1 gb file size now, that and the cloud save, I commend tou Firemonkey, thanks. But either way, I think I will wait a week to update, I have played a lot and am playing it a little safer than normal after what happened to me last week with Catch the ark and losing all coins and progress
I've not seen that, can you post a screenie? I'm also happy with the update. Initially, I was tentative to update with the worry being I'd lose my progress after so many invested hours, but I'm happy I did. It's interesting seeing people's levels, money earned and so on, so it's easy to see the hackers (you people are shit by the way!) However, by 'Comparative Leaderboards', I was expecting to see times posted on individual events, as opposed to guesswork based on where people start and finish on the grid. So, out of what was expected from this update, that's my only let down. I'll be looking forward to a replay feature in future, and for the love of God, more tracks, please!
Hmmm, game seems to be a bit speedier (frame rate and starting up the game). 4S, here. I appreciate the slightly-overhauled UI and being presented with the upgrade screen (if there are any available) after each race. It's really not intrusive at all, IMO. Really, though, i'm looking for a major content update, something I'd be willing to spend $5-10 bucks on: 3-5 new tracks, 10 cars (and not just exotic prototypes, either; how about some classic cars- some trucks even), and new race types. With all that being said, again I like being presented with more information about my cars, how the frame rate seems to have improved, and the little things i've forgotten to mention that help me be a better racer. I have noticed a bug, or two, however. One was actually beneficial, as i finished like 6th in a race and still won first prize. It shows that i didn't come in first, but oh wells.
Sorry but I am a bit inept and don't know how to grab a screen shot. If you go into a head to head, or hunter or auto cross you'll see it in the top left. I think its only there on the first play through of that event though?
Loving the update thus far! My only letdown is the leaderboards, because i expected that there are going to be times posted for events or something like that. But pretty much having fun with it right now
