I'd be pretty shocked if this were the case, are you sure a new car hasn't created a new event in the series? The Camaro ZL1 has been introduced as another option in one of the series and pushed a percentage down by two on mine as well. Although, the upgrade menu after each race will get old very quickly. I hadn't seen that as not had a race yet. Hmm.
My game won't seem to update? When I first tried to start the update it said I didn't have enough room to perform the update. I then cleared the space, but it still showed the update as in progress - I have rebooted my device twice now (iPhone 4S) and it is still just stuck in limbo. No progress on the app icon to indicate that the update is actually "updating" and the badge icon still shows on my App Store icon indicating a new update available. Anyone else have this issue or know of a work around - I will be very upset if I loose all my progress.
Hmm, sounds like something else is trying to download ahead of the update, like a film from iTunes. Check your iTunes download list or any other applications that might be trying to update.
Found a couple of bugs in 1.10 already ... most of the new events are missing the names or have things like (null) or event_green.pvr as the title Also ... countdown clock in elimination has 'io' instead of ':' Another minor point... if there are upgrades available for car it prompts you (takes you into upgrade screen) after every event
As you can see in the picture, there's no race in that series missing gold. Besides, the Camaro or the Cobalt are not part of that series. There was one I had at 100% and now is at 89% because the Camaro was introduced, and that's fine, but losing progress without any change to the series, that bothers me a lot! I'll try to win a race, to see if it the completion rate fixes itself.
It didn't... Stuck at 97%. Seems to me that this update brought more bugs than those that were fixed. Except for the new cars, it's now a much worse experience than before. Guess I'll race a couple events so I can buy the featured car, do a cloud save, and delete it from my iPhone.
This makes me glad I backed up my save to my computer and deleted the game as it was. I think if I ever go back to it, I'll just go back to the old version.
So with this Cloud save, I should now be able to delete the NZ version of this game and download the Canadian version if I've backed it up, right? I just want this confirmed before I delete the NZ version and lose all my progress.
My 4.3 iPad starts the update and then cancels it without any errors. Judging by your feedback guys I am not missing much
Jeez I wish they'd just released this as a good racing game for $5 - $10 without the free to play crap. I just want to pick a car and track and drive. The game itself is very good in terms of graphics and the handling model is decent. The track selection seems to be good too although I've only seen Laguna, Brands Hatch, and suzuka so far. The way the game progresses though is a pita...
hey, I was one who wasn't going to jump on this train till cloud saving came about although in retrospect I could have started on one device and just waited for the ability to move cars over to others but anyway, on a iphone 5 and noticing occasional small stutters when racing and in general, a not so impressive fps. Is this the norm or might I be having issues with my device I should look in to? I do know it's probably been talked about but that's a heck of a lot of pages to sift thru. I sort of plan on giving this game the 'ol college try despite my objections to its freemium model but i'll admit, I was sort of surprised at the stutter and fps. But I do need this game, I ended up somehow, to my shame, getting addicted to that nitro game that came out recently and I think I've hit the point where I don't want that embarrassment anymore.
you buy a new car and there is a time till delivery? man I found that hilarious, that's stretching the money grab thing a bit. plays like butt on a ipad mini, try the ipad 4 next..not sure if this a post update thing
Being one of those who grabbed it from the NZ app store, I think this update is buggy, very buggy. It suffers from terrible slowdowns and <null> labels all around. Hopefully the next update will: - Fix the slowdowns: hey devs, it seems all the slowdowns come from loading the avatars from GC. Why not put an on/off switch for the avatars in the config menu? I don't know 99% of my GC friends, so honestly, I don't mind if I see their face or a helmet. I'm on an iPhone 4s and it suffers from terrible slowdowns. - Fix the <null> message. Also, IMHO the new way of forced-passing through all the menus of updates, repairs, etc. is just a way to try and force us to make more mistakes regarding accidental clicking of the "quick fix" buttons. All of this is a pity, because the game itself is very good...
Yup, updating not great. I haven't raced since the update, cause it crashes and closes every time I try.
Same here. Crashes on the series race select menu. I can still race via the challenge messages in my inbox, but not via the main menu system. Many others are reporting the same on the App Store, so hopefully there will be a fix released soon. Until then I basically can't play.
I haven't either. Please tell me if it is good to update or not. By this I mean did they ruin the handling and physics? Wow and after reading and the negativity after the update I am not updating, lol.
The biggest positive about the update is the reduction of the installed file from 1.80GB to 1.08GB, an 800MB slimming.
