I got the Porsche first then the Lamborghini. In hindsight I would skip the Porsche and just get the Lamborghini. It IMO is the better of the two, I find I use the Lamborghini way more than the Porsche. I think I found the Porsche required upgrading sooner to keep up.
All Porsche are expensive useless rubbish, don't waste any RS on them. You can get better performance from other cars with less RS. And Ford GT is useless rubbish.
I agree with you regarding the GT, but not about the Porsche. They're all great cars, with very good handling and grip in their class. The only Porsche that I haven't driven very often was the 911 GT3 Cup. And I'm only talking about the 911s, because the 918 RSR is one of the sweetest drives in the game. But like I'm always saying, the question "which car to buy?" is connected to the question "do you want to complete the game?", because you'll need all the cars to get to 100%.
Nope ... unlikely to get 100% and not even trying but most of my championships i'm in are all completed to the point of primary car or endurance races (due to impossible to beat TSM distances) so i just want a nice new car to drive to start a new series or two Kinda like the look of the nissan sumo or jr r35 gt cars ... i know the regular r35 is a missile its so quick
I own the Sumo, and I don't like it a bit. It's not the best car in the series it enters, and has bad visibility (if you drive using the cockpit view).
I have the other GTR and its awesome. I think to an extent it also comes down to driving style, as well as the car. A lot of people rave about the McLaren MC12 but I find it has no grip for my style of driving. I like to get into the corners quite fast and carry the corner speed through rather than mash the brakes cruise through and accelerate out. Some cars this works better than others.
I'd take grip over power anyday.... love the Audi R8 v10 So you're talking about the JR Motorsports GT-R GT1 (almost identical to sumo) or just the regular R35?
The JR Motorsports one. Really enjoy racing that. Grip is key... first upgrades I do are tyres and suspension, then exhaust and drivetrain.
Feels very odd driving the Nissans in cockpit view. They're all right hand drive while most other cars are left. Even though I drive a right hand car, the position in the JR Nissan just feels wrong.
I just like to appreciate the interior of the car I'm driving. Always wondered what the inside of Koenigsegg was like!
In all racing games that I've played, I always use the cockpit view. But for iOS racing games, I always use the 3rd person view. I can't seem to drive properly using other views, which is weird, lol.
I like the car view the best. Cockpit view looks cool, but runs preetty poorly on my ipad 3. Is it totally smooth on the ipad 4?
Only time I climb out of cockpit view in this game is with most bmws if the race is close and I take hood damage. Damn hood wrinkles up enough that it throws my perspective out of whack heh.
The only time I drive without cockpit view, is in drag races. Every other race I play inside the car, even with damaged bonnets. The hardest car I find the hardest to play that way is the Dodge Viper. Last time I drove that car, I was trying to drive around Southbank with a damaged bonnet. Couldn't see a thing. :/
