You could try the secondary GC account option. That would at least clear out your friendslist.

Same here. I can always copy my save back and re-install the game (thanks to the pc and iFunBox), but when a game is no longer fun I gotta decide if it's still worth my time. I"m all for hard games. I have 100% completed Mikey Shorts and topped a lot of my friends scores in that.

    Thanks you answered my questioned.
So this game forces you to upgrade your cars in order to be in par with your friends or else you will be eating their dust if their cars are maxed.

I believe it does keep track of upgrades since my friend was using the same car and he was going faster and catching up slowly in the narrow lanes while I'm hard on the gas going smooth.

Does this mean eventually the record for each map a player sets will be next to impossible to beat since we are all continously beating eachother or will it still be balanced in someway? And how?

You won't continuously beat each other's times. There'll come a time you won't bother going back and repeat an event only to beat your friend, because you'll be far more focused on completing new events. There are close to 1000 events, if you both decide to beat each other in all the tracks... just do the maths. Let me just tell you that I have played for more than 150h, and completed almost 2000 races, with 75% of the game completed. Would I got those scores if I was always trying to beat a friend? Surely not.

Beating friends is nice, specially when you start playing the game, but after a while I don't give a crap that someone beat me, because this game pushes you into completing/unlocking events, the "multiplayer" aspect of the game is put aside fairly quickly.

That's what I'll do, with iExplorer. I could use the extra 2Gb on my 16Gb iPhone.

After I've stopped playing RR3, I've put my focus in finishing some old games which I've never completed, and guess what? In a week I've finished (from scratch) NOVA 3, Modern Combat 3 and 4, and I'm close to completion in Dead Space. And boy... I'm having fun that way, instead of grinding all the time in RR3.

Well there are over 900 events and 100 more coming with the next update. So I think most people will give up before being ultra competitive on each race. Plus this isn't a true ghost race. Only the time is considered and then the AI tries to make it fit, but if you damage them then they can't keep up.

How did you gain money so fast if you were not beating friends to progress?

You didn't get my point. I was beating friends (lots of them) but I wasn't trying to be better than them in all of the events, even after they've beaten my times. I'll give you one more example: after getting gold in head-to-head events, I never go back. When someone beats me there, fine by me, I got the gold.

What you were saying was that since you and your friends would continuously beat each other's times, there would come a time when beating a certain lap time would be impossible. That may eventually happen, but to reach that point you would have to replay for several times in the same tracks, without progressing in the game.

Me, I was going for progression, and completing the game, and occasionally going back to certain races to win money, but not to be "better" than them. In many events I got beaten by other players, but I never cared going back.

He's right. Like for me, I only go back to the last 2 or 3 races of a certain event. They usually give the most dough.

Like for instance, I like going back to that last race in Accolade Open. Gives you nearly 70k if you get 1st place. Plus the fact that its so fun to drive the M3 GT2 ALMS. :D

I've been wondering about this. I'm not sure whether it's necessarily due to whether the event is last in a series, or more to do with the nature of the race (Cup) and the number of laps (4). A race like that can net anywhere between R$15,000 and R$70,000 like you say, assuming all participants are TSM friends and the length of the track is good. An end series Cup race on Brands Hatch won't generally net as much as a Cup race on Mount Panorama mid series.

I'm looking forward to the Accolade Open, but none of my TSM friends seem to have made it that far, so I'm only expecting about R$15,000 in winnings. :(

Also, gotta say, your TSM alter ego Mr Waks is fun to race against. Consistently up there in terms of grid position.

I'm 97 hours in, 50% complete. Starting to get a bit irritated with the wait timers on higher end cars. All that work for what seems like the briefest of action with your new toy is not fun.

I got most of my GC friends in this forum, and in Accolade, I always get a full house of TSM people, so that's where the BMW ALMS and Porsche RSR gets wrecked, since I dont usually get a full participation of TSMs from the other events that they're available.

Like right now, I got around R$68,000 from winning in the Accolade, lap time in Suzuka Circuit was 8'26 (5 laps). I don't think its a bad ratio, 8 mins for 68,000.

Your TSM ghost is nice too, had fun racing against it. Glad to know too that my times are quite competitive, at the very least. And yours are too.

I usually run into cfgoliveira too. He's also fun to race against.

I'm 94 hours in, 64% complete. I usually just burn time with older events while the high end cars are being repaired. Helps you earn cash this way, if you ask me. Just going through the 2-3 last races in their events.

I'm going to ignore this comment since its irrelevant to what I am saying or have ever said..

How do you earn money in this game? I have 4 friends for starters and in order for me to get bonus money I notice I must go back to my old races and beat my friends since they are not in progression with me. I don't make as much money going forward than I do going backwards. I could careless for the red notification for certain events but what I am more interested in is having as much of my friends participating so I can make the most out of the win. My question is... Do I need 500 real racing friends in order to earn me money and guarantee that all slots will be filled with friends? Is there another way to win money faster than racing against friends? How are you all gaining so much money?

This game is all about coins and premium currency. The only way to get premium currency is levelling up... For each level I gain, does the exp. value remain constant or increase for the requirement of the next level? If it increases means premium currency will be next to impossible to earn when you reach high levels... Is this true?

I was tryin to be nice and explain my points of view to you, sharing my experience with the game. That's what I get for trying...

I'll leave other more understanding people to explain it you, I probably don't have the necessary linguistic skills and patience.

    I'll tackle this one.

You only get to race against a lot of friends AFTER you win gold in the event. So, having 500 friends may have a few leak over into the regular first time race but most will not. So the way to gain money is to re-run races you've finished with a gold in and have a lot of friends. You can still earn money without friends, it just takes longer. The flip side to a lot of friends though is some events like Endurance end up becoming impossible because there is/was a bug that made lines of cars appear which means some people ended up with mega huge distances which may be impossible to pass without the glitch also happening to you.

So its a double edge sword and I fall on the side that maybe it's better not to have a ton of friends.

You are also not answering my question. I already know that beating lap times over and over including endurance races soon result in impossible to beat. I also know to activate the friend bonus you must first get gold trophy.

My question is... Rephrasing...To have the highest possible chance for success not including iap & hacks will I need many friends to earn the most possible money or is there another way to earn the MOST possible money without having any friends?

The reason I ask is because I read people writing they earn up to $70,000 per race... The most I have probably seen is $10,000. If I was earning $70,000 per race this game I would have beat a long time ago. I am continuosly placing first but not making money since its wasted on repairs.

(ai likes to follow a certain pattern where they don't realize you are driving beside them and they continue to steer into you) unrealistic.

In that case, yes. Racing against 21 friends in a cup with 3 or 4 laps, or more, the money earned is always bigger than the one you get by default. Like a while ago, when I said I earned almost 70k, about 22k from that came from the race itself, while the remaining amount came from TSM.
