I dropped about $ 20 in the first week to unlock extra cars and events, I would have easily spent that up front for Real Racing. I've put just over 100 hours in so far, my hope is to 100% the game, definitely haven't lost interest yet! Yeah there are some events that feel ike you just can't win without upgrades. Also I have to say I got the Zonda R and the Hayaura yesterday, they are both AWESOME.
I would have dropped some cash at the start but it just felt like jumping the gun for me. Plus loads of people were talking up ways of playing the game without paying anything, which was fine because that's what I did too, but I do feel like Firemonkeys should get payed for their hardwork seeing as I'm still enjoying the game so much! I'm holding out for the Agera R. I need to use the Huayra to get to the discount event for the standard Agera, then hopefully, I'll have squirreled enough gold away to get the Agera R in the Koenigsegg events. I need 62 more gold to hit the 640 discount target. Really does feel like gold is being dished out very slowly now though!

If you want to know why Ferrari isn't represented in this game, do a search for 'Ferrari, Porsche, EA, Turn 10' Another classic example of EA's greed. In a nutshell, they went out of their way to make Porshce an EA exclusive solely to keep Turn 10 from including them in Forza 4. Microsoft got pissed and did the same with Ferrari. EA sucks. When another developer makes a game that outshines whatever garbage EA has on the market at the time, EA goes and buys up licenses to pigeonhole everyone else in the genre and eliminates the competition rather than competing with it. Bunch of scumbags that don't have the talent nor the creativity to compete in today's market, but they have rooms full of money to hamstring anyone beating them to the mountaintop. Too bad the Real Racing franchise is another victim of this crap. What's worse is that they bought the franchise and turned it into an experiment. These guys are a cancer to the industry. I've been saying it for years. Probably since they bought ALL the sports lisences because 2K was crushing their market share with better products for a third of the cost.

On a separate note, I now finally have all the gold I need to buy the Zonda R, and the Agera R (320 + 640, discount prices), but I'll need the Veyron to get to those showcases. Today I'm committed to buy it, but I'm still 200k short. It's one small step, but I'm getting a bit tired of playing back races. Can't give up...

Anyway, good points, and indeed game save hacking is a grey area, and probably one that would never go to a court even if it was illegal, cause most judges would probably laugh and say why are you wasting my time when we are trying to find murderers out there, not teenage boys who are editing their game saves. But it was interesting where you stated that you thought that doing the system time hack should be illegal cause it takes away inapp revenues by bypassing wait timers. That was kind of amusing. Why are you going to jail? Cause I adjusted my system time on my ipad.... Why? To save a couple of coins... Death Penalty! Hehe. Yeah, just wish they would put in icloud saves so many people wouldn't be forced to hack. Once they do, they will just go all the way and do all hacks and even pirate. Anyway, I am kind of getting doubtful that this fabled icloud save is coming. If it was, it would probably have been here by now, cause it's been way over a month for us NZ people. Probably getting close to 2 months. Probably EA has probably decided that it is better not to have an icloud save, so we all lose all our coins and inapps, so that we have to buy more coins and regrind. That's what I think. If an icloud solution comes soon, I will eat crow, but honestly, I think EA could care less about gameplay and game saves. Greed, that is what it is. Plain and simple. Can't believe they have such a huge inapp game with no game saves when the game is over 2 gb. No wonder why people on this thread are hacking this game to death. But maybe this is the reality of ios gaming now. I will be sad.
Yeah, they do. I mainly like Asphalt 7 because you can actually beat the whole game without really having to lean to IAP. I am missing 1 star though. I gave this game 3 shots, the grindage was just too much. Asphalt 7, albeit an arcade racer, is still very good and fun to play
Gameloft has way more cars than RR3 though. Like 20 more cars. They actually update the game as well. I don't usually play as much anymore since I have like everything multiplayer is pretty stable for Asphalt, but from time to time, when it says I finish first, I finish second. I spent some 20-30+ hours on Asphalt to get where I was, it was pretty worth it. Although I don't know why EA doesn't .-.
There's a post on the last page that covers it. You had me laughing a few posts up with the whole going to jail for adjusting the time on an iPad. Wow. So much grinding, but you are really close. How many cars do you have right now? .... RR2 update. Club Division 100%, State Showdown 70%. 2 cars owned and fully upgraded, 150k in the bank for the next car. 21% Complete for the career mode... And I didn't play at all last night or yet today. If they released a Premium version of RR3 without the IAP and earning gold and R$'s at a higher rate.. I'd consider buyin it. Even if it were more like RR2 with a shorter career mode. I don't buy IAP though for anything... So no way for me to throw them any support since I already bought the older RR games. Flight Control is the only thing I don't own from them, but not really interested in it either.
Yeah, would love to see a premium rereleased version of RR3 with all the crap wait timers removed and auto shop repairing focus lessened, icloud saves added, and real multiplayer and airplay support added. Come on EA! You can still do it! Just sell it at $5 with absolutely no sales ever, keep the freemium there, and boom, you will probably get a huge amount of sales. Minimal coding to remove the wait timers and add icloud and add multiplayer, and boom, rerelease this puppy, and you will make money. Well, I hope this would happen someday, but doubt it.
