I think you need to find what part of your game is holding you back. In that, I mean, your abilities. Trust me, fractions of seconds on parts will keep you from progressing to the 100% mark. You just have to figure out where these things can be corrected on each track, with the cars you use on those tracks. I disagree. The game, with time put into it, can be completed without a single IAP. IAP will only speed that up. The joystick won't work well with it at all. Even if it was supported, you'd quit using it extremely soon after starting. Yep. I hit the last few cups in the series, usually four lappers, with a LOT of friends to grind against. I played for about an hour or just beyond that, and net'd just over $500,000 R$. Like I posted just above your quote here, earning isn't hard to get over $50,000 R$ per race. You do have to have some friends on there, and place first, but even at 7th place, I earned over $20,000 R$. My best one that I do is the last Panorama Cup in the PRO/AM series. If I remember correctly, it's $16,900 for first place, and then 21 friends gets me $35,000. I do it twice, then go to the next event while I repair that car, rinse repeat throughout three or four different series. I was stuck on 98% for a section that I had a single race out of the entire thing at 2nd place. I played it about 15 times one day, and couldn't get in first to save me life. I was racing against someone that was extremely good (wish I had written the name down). I just kept playing and playing trying to learn what I was doing wrong, etc. The next day, same guy was on the track, along with 20 other friends. I was devoted to finishing that off. It was the only race from the entire series that kept me from 100% the four sections. The first race, I beat the guy by .200 on the time. It was amazing.
That's the beauty of it, the sense of accomplishment after beating an extra-hard event. Where would the fun be, if it was easy.
I own one, but I haven't upgraded it yet. If I was about to upgrade it, however, I'd spend some money on the brakes, and then on top speed. And, if you want a Veyron, prepare yourself to spend hundreds on improving those crappy breaks.
Thanks for the tip regarding turning of Wifi when playing. The games goes from impossible to playable! I mean, 72km endurance races? Come on!
Beautiful Game I'm really impressed by the way this game looks and plays. A lot of console games don't look this good!
Yes it looks decent, and yes you can also play it quite good without IAP, BUT I think it overall is just not a very top of the notch game. For starters, I don´t like being told that I have to wait x Minutes/Hours. This makes the game only good for short bursts of play until you acquire more cars to switch out. Next thing is that the AI players are just not very smart in general. To get money, soon you will have to grind already completed tracks, which seems to be kind of a bore. I´ll keep RR3 on my device a bit longer to continue playing from time to time though, as I want to give this game a fair chance. As I said, it´s not bad, but I don´t think this is the latest and greatest racing game ever. For the price of free I had a couple of entertaining hours, so that´s okay in my book, but meh, I still prefer a complete game. Call me old fashioned, but this quick Facebook style does not quite suit me, not even for a mobile game.
Wow, just bought the Nissan GT-R (R35) and the acceleration is insane! Wish I'd bought it sooner now.
Thanks for your comment bro. I was just debating on whether this was a good investment or not. The acceleration looks great and it's all I care for in this game. By the way... Anyone playing this game with assists is missing out on the realism. I got to say,... Wow! Great game please do not make any changes to this game other than multiplayer being added soon
Er... Don't expect real multiplayer here, seriously. Regarding the GT-R, it's one of the best cars available. And for that price it is, by very far, the best.
Thanks man. by the way is there any particular race good for grinding or are they all well balanced out?
Add lots of friends, then race them. I got over 10k bonus money many times for beating friends. I think i got 20k one race.
Clearing cached TSM times I was getting really sick of unbeatable endurance times, and found that Airplane mode alone and multiple restarts wasn't helping, so I figured out a way to clear them. Clearing cached TSM times in Real Racing 3 1. Exit the game and force-close it. 2. Connect your device through USB and open your favourite file manager (iFunBox, iTools etc.). 3. Navigate to the Real Racing 3 directory under apps. 4. IMPORTANT: MAKE A BACKUP OF THE DOCUMENTS FOLDER! 5. Inside the Documents folder you'll find lots of res_xxxx.pld files (where xxxx is a number). Delete all of these. DO NOT DELETE ANY OTHER FILES! 6. Close the file manager and disconnect your device. 7. Go into Settings in iOS and switch on Airplane mode. 8. Run the game and enjoy playing without those silly TSM times! I'd noticed those res_xxxx.pld files were growing in number the more I played the game, so my hunch was that they contained the TSM data. It looks like there is 1 for each event you have participated in. Now I should disclaim that I haven't tried reconnecting to the internet after doing this yet (I'm enjoying the lack of TSM for a while) but I'd guess that as soon as you do the game will start to download new TSM times again. If you're worried about it, you could restore the res_xxxx.pld files from your backup before you switch Airplane mode off. Hope this helps.
I use a few.. PRO/AM WOLRD SERIES Street-Spec Skirmish > Mastare Global Grand Finale > Cup > Mount Panorama > 4 Laps > 8:45:xx or less Fame: 2,400 R$: 15,800 + 1,600 per friend Performance Rumble > Speedrush TV Australasian Open > Cup > Mount Panorama > 2 Laps > 4:10:xx or less Fame:1,200 R4:7,900 + 800 per friend I'll post more as I go back through them.
Pab, that's a great find. I thought those files were YOUR times for each track since they seemed to be all really small amounts of data. But that's great news for anyone wanting to eliminate TSM from the game. Granted some races have some pretty amazing AI racers, but getting those endurance races back to what the devs intended is a treat. This may have reignited my desire to push forward with the game. .... I noticed a number of "friends" have TSM data already posted for the Pagani Huayra race. I gotta wonder given how grindy the game is how many actually saved for that and how many just opted to use the hacked save posted early in this thread to give enough money to buy pretty much every car and do all the upgrades? Either way doesn't matter much... going to zapp all the TSM data and play some of this game today
I find it complete rubbish to clear the TSM times in order to clear the game. To me that's as much cheating as is hacking the game to have infinite money and gold. Regarding the Huayra, I was saving since the week before the promotion, and bought it as soon as it shown up with the 30% discount. At that time, no friends had completed the event, but while I was still waiting for delivery (22h if I'm not mistaken) there were already a couple friends showing up. I have the same doubt as you, I wonder how many of them have hacked the game. I've been able to catch a cheater or two, but sometimes is not that clear.
Pab/nightc1- I'd appreciate it if you would let me know if this works, specifically, whether this technique screws anything up when you turn the internets back on. It may get me back in the game too for a while. Thanks for the tip!
