If you're having wait problems I feel bad for you son,
I've waited ninety nine hours and just one race run.

To everyone who hasn't downloaded this game yet, get hold of CSR Racing, play that for a few hours, you'll get a fairly similar experience :)

Well it kinda is that much of a problem.
I guess you have to experience to really believe. And the gameplay is so unbalanced that the waiting gets worse an worse . Unless you pay up, but that pit is so dark and deep you'd feel pity for the coin.

Well actually, all you need is a gift card of the said store. I'm Finnish, but I have a US account where I used bunch of credits on.

    So I've hit the wall.

The latest races are just too much for my poor Focus with its three engine upgrades, so I decide to go back to the very first event and grind for some more cash.

The cars in the very first race, second time around, are way too upgraded for my car to keep up now. I don't have cash to upgrade again, so would need to purchase cash via IAP to make my car competitive again.

    Wait on what?

My car has no damage, and needs no service. There's no timer on the screen, nothing to wait on.

I went back to do the very first race again, thinking it would be the same level as when I first raced it, but the opponents are now in far quicker cars second time around. I can't win the latest class of race because the cars are too fast, and I can't grind by repeatedly winning the earlier races because now those cars are too fast.

I've upgraded my engine three times, and have no cash to upgrade again.

I bought a 2nd car and while my RS is having a 90min service i'm trying my legs with the skyline just to see how it compete against the BMW's in that class, needless to say it's like driving a tank.

At least I can play between two cars now.

Service for the beginner cars should be way lower, right now 6 hours is too long of a wait after only what, 6 races? and not all of those are actual races but include top speed and cross the line in 30 seconds stuff.

Well,if even if you don't win you get some money. Especially in duel mode, since you'll always be second. Race till you need service again. Cleanse and repeat.

The problem with that is that you're only ever racing to afford your service costs, not upgrade your car. A quite vicious and never ending circle.

I just look at the game and think what could have been.

Sorry it took so long for my reply. I was watching the Real Madrid v Man U game lol, then had to start cooking dinner.

Prevent in their terms is for "make them pay more money to play". It doesn't help the gamers at all. I don't think this release is going to meet their expectations after a period of time when it starts slowing play down and making people continuously have to wait or fork out more and more money to continue with the game.

general People will lap up that iap. They love it while the TA community hates its most people will be sucked into it and think nothing of paying $100s of dollars.

Why not make a one off premium version you ask? Because they wont be able to suck you in and continue to get money out of you.

This freemium game will make loads of dosh. we really carnt blame EA its market forces that drives them.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind the IAP?! I spent $10 straight up as I thought that what I would've bought it for anyway. I grabbed a few cars and when a car needs some fixing I race one of the others. Great game IMO. I prefer one off purchases as they are more clear cut but I don't find this model that heavy. Each to their own I guess :)

You will end up paying more later in the game.

But it's about a beloved series that was the absolute pinnacle of iOS racing. Would it be just a random game, nobody would care. But there is a legacy behind it.

You can compare it to Star Wars. Of course you can ignore part 1 to 3, but they exist, and this fact alone is throwing a big shadow on the whole series.

It's about something people really love.

This confuses me. If the game sucks and the iaps are ridiculous, the solution is simple don't play and don't buy iaps. When their downloads tank and they aren't hitting the iap numbers, they will have to change. I'll always have asphalt if this tanks

Okay hopefully someone can answer this question and i do apologize if it has been asked as this is the 1st time I am attempting this.
    - Due to the fact Real Racing 3 is out only in certain regions i took the liberty of creating an account in one of those said regions. Now when the game comes out in the United States on the 28th how will game progress be effected.
    - If I go to download it when its out will it have me download a whole new app or just recognize its installed and i can keep progress kind of thing. Or would it be best i start over with USA account credentials.
