Figured out the first question: just go to the settings in the game and log out from Facebook :)

Picked up the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. As in real life, I LOVE that car. What a great machine and so nice to look at too. It may not compete on the drag strip that well, but on the track... what a powerhouse. So now I own 17 cars. Next up? Either that SRT Viper GTS... or the Ford GT, aiming for the Ford because it'll be more useful. The only other car that will become available soon with a discount would be the Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe down in the RWD Open Revolution. But then it's really only useful in two categories and the other one it appears weaker to the Ford GT. I need to make some more cash though, only 90K in the bank since I had to fix the Gallardo, Shelby & the Porsche last night.

    Stats wise....
    165/961 events completed (17%)
    153 Trophies (114-G/26-S/13-B)
    453 Total Races
    Level 46

IMO Ford GT is rubbish. It opens two new set of races, but grip is really bad and yyou have to update it several times for it to be useful. I have 20 cars and I'm on level 69, btw. Add me if you wish (virtualboyfreak)

    Sent a request.

I wouldn't have thought the GT would be bad... seems pretty awesome stat wise. They were running all over my Shelby, figured it was a step up.

Either way, gotta make some $R's before I can unlock anything else and take advantage of more discount deals.

ugh. One more race.. one more place... Performance Rumble in the PRO/AM. The Supafly Global Open Round 2. I'm at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. FFS!!! I can't get first to save my life. I was 7th on the first try. Fourth on the second try. Third race, I was able to get in second, and was beat by 2 seconds.... I HAVE TO GET FIRST PLACE!! lol It's the last one so I can have that at 100%. I need some meds! hehe

Accepted it :) yeah, I never thought the Ford GT would handle so bad either, but I noticed it specially when comparing to the Audi R8. If you upgrade, it handles much better, but you have to invest loads of $R's IMO. The cars I like the most atm are the Audi R8, the Porsche prototype (the one which costs 150 gold coins) and the Nissan GT:R. I had to upgrade this last one a bit, but the acceleration it has is incredible. Shelby GT500 and Porsche 911 GT3 are also very good.

That's probably the only track I really dread racing in the game. There's that little hill drop off with that s to the left... all those tight turns and gravel. Just... don't care at all for that one. In a Cup like that though with 22 racers, it's hard to find spots to get past enough of them early on to garner the 1st place victory. Plus the TSM players on some of these are particularly brutal. Makes me want to disable TSM for a few events like this and see what the default AI would be like (if such a thing exists).

I'd say the acceleration it has is phenomenal, almost broken, especially if you go for an alernative in a championship. There is literally no hope for you if you enter a drag race against it with another car.

Any tips on doing the free gold offers?

I've tried doing similar things in other apps, but I'm never sure when the offer is complete and I'll get the bonus. Plus, I don't want to be spamed mailings...

I have done three and all bonus gold was awarded as soon as I closed the app.
I did free credit report, identity protection, and gamefly.

Still enjoying RR3 a lot. Level 30, 121/961, 12 cars (almost all bought with the discount, thks TA).
Money comes easily with TSM if you got a lot of GC friends, and it's fun looking at you guys names when racing.

I only read the last 50 pages or so of the thread, don't want to look at all the IAP arguments lol.
    So I got a question:
Which controls do you use, and do you disable the assists?
I play B controls, direction and motor assist, and "low"brakes assist.
It's fine with me but maybe I should disable the assists on some races?

Brand new to this site, pretty neat with everything is has on here! I've been reading a lot of posts on here in the past few days in regards to people or kids on here complaining about "freemium" model and "IAP's". I do agree its a pain to be subjected to wait for "repairs" but if you utilize the tips on here you should never have to wait.
I'm not hardcore or anything but I have 3 cars, 100K and only been playing it for 8 hours so far! Love the graphics and controls could be tweaked a bit. I've been playing racing games forever and my only complaint would be AI's racing lines need to be tweaked, seems the only way to overtake is to do it on the outside on corners or risk getting beat up on the inside. Lame....other than that its great and its free so why bitch about it.......

Personally I'm using the tilt controls and auto accel, and the only assist I have on is "traction control", everything else is turned off, this way you can out brake opponents into corners/turns to gain places.

So far I had a few people from here add me to GC, if anyone else would like to, feel free: jd99ca1 and mention where your from. Thanks...

Earn gold and race these elite friends - I can't.

What's up with the oil. Seems as far as servicing goes, oil has been taking bigger and bigger hits. Anyone else notice that?

i love this game but damn they need to come out with a paid version id pay 10 bucks for this game, just to get rid of the DAMN TIMERS so annoying having to spend my gold or money on parts and i gotta wait 10 mins or an hour LOL...

FIREMONKEY heed this PLEASE ADD A TIMER REMOVAL in app purchase IT SUCKS IT DOES NOT MAKE ME WANT TO SPEND MONEY ON GOLD IT JUST MAKES ME RAGE! also i shouldn't have to edit my time everytime i get a upgrade , and delivery time for cars 2 hours? if you have the money in game you shouldn't have to wait for the car LOL...

    ok im done...

    p.s.

just make a paid version so its like RR2 where i don't have to wait for crap! the game is worth 15 bucks easy...and i know a lot of people would buy it.

I understand the complaints over the timers but there's not one for repairs, just servicing, upgrades and car delivery. You do not have to service your car to keep racing. Just fix what is broken and you'll be set back a little but I've won 1st in big cup races with my entire car needing service. If drag racing its not like you need brakes.

As for assists. I've weaned myself off of steering & brake and often use traction control but in some races it'll hold you back from getting top speed. Traction control slows your ability to hit the gas after going through the grass but it does keep you from loosing control. So give and take. On drag races though you need no assists. I use the steering wheel option with the wheel on the left and gas and brake on the right. Basically the same controls as I use in Final Freeway 2R.

I love pretty much everything about this title. The in app purchases stuff doesn't bother me 1 bit. I've never been one to want to rush through games or get the fast car without working for it.

and all that really means to me is that I'll be playing this game for a very very long time. And this is coming from a guy who bought real racing 1 and 2 and only play them for a total of maybe 30 hours. I've already played RR3 for 11 hours and can't get enough.

Also, this game being free is ridiculous. For us Macklemore fans this is heaven.

Has anyone else experienced this. Somedays my cars even though fully upgraded can't win a race. Then if I try another day all the races seem easy to win.

For example yesterday I couldn't win this race against nissan 350z's and BMW z4's. But today the game has decided to match me with all ford focuses and I win with over a thousand yard lead.
