why do we have to wait tell the 28th to downlaod it in the US store? Why couldn't they just do a world wide release today?
Yeah, sounds like it from what all you guys are saying. Sounds like a one day download and play, cause I will not keep a huge freemium game on my system. Dead trigger is about it,and its not that big. Oh well, gotta go figure out what I will delete for tonight, and then reload them tommorrow after I play rr3 for a day. Now I wish I had a 128 gb ipad 4. Anyone know if the ipad 4 version is alot better than the ipad 3 version???
iPad 4 has the same processor as the iphone 5 so yes it's a lot better, the ipad 3 is just an ipad 2 with a better screen in terms of raw power, if not slightly worse then an ipad 2.
The countries released today act as more of a beta test for this game, and judging by the reaction of most people, I think the developers have plenty to think about before their worldwide release. But hey, if it makes you feel any better, I'm in Australia, and still haven't downloaded this game.
As long as the game is good the waiting shouldn't be THAT much of a problem. My only issue is that it makes the whole series seem a bit cheaper and less serious, it's not a proper game anymore, I compare it more to temple run than a proper game like RR2, it's like Fable: The Journey for Xbox 360.
What??? This isn't coming to the US tonight? I was just getting ready to start deleting 3gb of games. Really?
It runs like a dream on iPad 3. No owner of the iPad need worry about the games performance. There are some slight stutters now and then, which won't be in the iPad 4 version, but visually both look identical.
Personally, I'd wait if you plan on buying any IAP. You can't purchase IAP even if you change your store settings back to your local one.
Of course in theory, but reality is much different most of the time. I was really thinking that this game might be the first to really show off the ipad 4, but hearing comments so far, doesn't look like it. Instead of spending the effort for a great ipad 4 version, it looks like they are spending more effort into inapps, time waiting, and freemium.
If in fact the rest of the world doesn't get the game until the 28th it would be a huge mistake on EA's part. A lot of people who don't want to wait will just create fake free NZ iTunes accounts and download the game but will have no way of buying IAP. Being that you can't add money to an international account unless you have an international credit card. Thus EA will lose out on IAP of these said people. However many people this is.
They're doing a soft-launch in just a few territories to make sure their servers can handle the load. And by that I mean, their email servers from all the complaints coming in!
