I'd say to back up the save data, and delete the app, download it again, transfer dave data back. That's what I'd do.

Exact same thing happened on my iPad 2 starting yesterday. Any car on any race and it will crash right after it pans over the track. Maybe they made a stealth update that doesn't work for some people. It still plays fine on my iPhone 4S.

I was playing endurance and all of a sudden like 25 cars were in front of me. I thought it was the infinite glitch. Passed those cars and then I was the only car on the track. Oh well.

Yeah, the race I posted about above... there were cars just appearing right in front of me at times. Literally, just popping up. Other times, there was that long line of cars just starting, like they didn't get the "GO" signal yet. lmbo.

The Endurance races are bugged like that and it's ruining it for everyone, I am surprised it hasn't been fixed yet.

On another note, is the repairs pop-out list annoying or what? It's a pain to chase for the boxes that need tapping, and the scrolling is unnecessarily sticky.

Words right out of my mouth. Not a game-breaking problem, the rest of the game is awesomesauce for me still, but I actively try and avoid the Endurance races because of totally unreachable goals, car breaking longevity and pathetic rewards! Waste of time events really.

Actually, it's not too much of a negative thing at all for endurance racing. It keeps players going and going... aka endurance. What is bad when you don't get the cars showing up, and you've spend a lot of time going and going... then your run ends. It doesn't actually promote endurance races in that respect.

I've had a mixed bag on endurance. Some go on forever, others end up pretty reasonable. I've been happy just getting third on some of the crazy ones.

As for the repairs list, it works awesome IMO. Tap the left most one and work your way right. It'll then autoscroll in the next batch of them. A repair all button would be nice, but its not an issue for me even with 14 repairs needed after a brutal event.

Jasonjlx here, ;) I always run into your times where you manage to beat me by a bit! I did wonder if you upgraded or it was some TSM boost. I am running pure stock, I just upgraded my BMW 1 Series M fully. I'll be going fully stock till I unlock some higher end cars, usually buying the best/2nd best car in the series, stock is enough to get you to fully through it. Afterwards I'll go back and upgrade to compete for times but when I see your name on the boards F34R, I'm like yeah, let's get rdy to race the tryhard. haha :D

You do seem decent though, but I was more impressed thinking your times were stock, I'll have to see how I measure up later.

Has anyone else had any problems with the repair timers just stopping counting down?!
My car has been saying it's gonna take 3 minutes and 1 second to repair for about the past ten minutes!
The timer is not moving!

The thing for me is, there are 900+ events. Endurance races take a long time, and the nature of these endurance races mean they can go on for hours if you want to get a gold. To make it better, there's no guarantee you can just sit there going in circles due to the nature of the spawn bug, so multiple attempts could be needed if you want gold. So that coupled with ruining your car, low prize reward and a hefty investment of time just sucks the fun out of these events for me. I'd hazard a guess that the developer never really wanted people to go much further than 20km in any given endurance event, I know I don't. :)

Yeah, I only upgrade when I'm at a point where I NEED to do it in order to beat others based on the performance of the car. I would have been a lot happier with stock cars, and saving the money for the higher end cars. After a while though, making enough money will be decent. I didn't play much yesterday, but I made a little over 700K, and gained a few levels.

The upgrades are only really shaving off a couple seconds from the times at best.
Yeah, I agree in that regard too. It's a win win or lose lose at times lol. I think the endurance runs would be better off with a set lap count, and users fight for the best times. The amount of laps increase as you move up the ladder of tiers, etc. That would be better.

I think I've decided that the Porsche 918 RSR is my favorite car. It's so perfect in every way. The upgrades are affordable, it's quick to accelerate, it turns confidently. Incredible.

In other words, for all you new players, DON'T BUY THE MCLAREN. SAVE FOR THE PORSCHE.

The upgrades are expensive lol. The first round of upgrades was over 200,000... It also takes stupid 2hrs for them. :(

They do take a while... But I meant that it's not expensive to upgrade the 3 essentials (drivetrain, wheels+tires, suspension) which brings the handling up to 1.37g and boosts the acceleration a bit. I've not had the need to upgrade any further, so I feel that it's relatively inexpensive yes.

And if we want to talk expensive, go try to upgrade the Zonda! That thing is like $130k for the first set of new wheels/tires. Staggering.

I guess the R$ for upgrades are offset by the Gold investment in purchasing the car though. That said, I'm trying to save for the Agera R, the upgrades for that are probably insanely expensive but damn, 273mph top speed?!

Edit: Is it necessary to upgrade the tires on the Zonda R? That's got the best handling in the game as far as I can see...

I guess in the two hours it's gonna take, I'll race elsewhere and earn the money back for the next upgrades hehe...

Yeah, I'm scared to get the higher end cars beyond this one lol.

THE BEST IS NOT ENOUGH! It must be able to do hairpin turns at 150mph.

But in all seriousness, I don't really even like the zonda. That car is just in a class of TOO FAST. I wish I had instead bought the porsche 918 sooner and had used the coins to upgrade my other cars.

Is there a way to change your drivers name to your GameCenter name instead of your Facebook name?

Oh, and do the showcases for cars you purchase with coins give coin discount for that car?

Feel free to add me for some racing :)
