If you have a lot of "friends" on GameCenter, the higher tiers in the events earn you more money. However, they aren't "quick". Sometimes, 10+ mins per race. Lower tiers are faster, but earn less money.
Hey TA mods, what's up with the page numbering in this thread? It says I'm seeing page 306 of 314 available, but this one (306 atm) seems the last one. Why is the counter registering 8 extra pages in the thread?
The game says: 25:13:42. But at night I set any cars that need repair up and that time too is counted. So right now, with ~10min left before the Gallardo shows up, it still considers me playing. I don't take the racing too seriously. I really shouldn't have entered such a high level race with such a worn out and underpowered car but other stuff was in the garage and I wanted to finish grinding events (even new events) for some cash for that Lamborghini. But man, those higher level races do pay out pretty well. Even without TSM friends, I can pull in 8K even coming in 3rd. Since I have such a decent garage worth of cars, I make it a point to fix everything between races and if a car is needing service I may opt to do that right then and switch to a different car to keep on eliminating races in that group of events. I haven't even even bothered to do hardly any upgrades on the cars though because I'm always saving for the next one and I've been able to consistently win golds without upgrading.

And why didn't you make a backup of the savegame? I'm still on the NZ version, but if I were to change, I'd get the savegame and pass it from one version to the other.
I have exactly the same cars minus the Porsche & Viper. I'm about 40K shy of the Porsche so I should have it by lunch time. Currently level 43. I could have had the Viper several times over but I'm on the hunt for deals. Do you upgrade your cars? I noticed on a lot of races you seem to be my biggest rival (Jasonjlx a close second). In drag races it's been hard to match you in certain cars (Mustang Shelby for instance). Just curious if it's a TSM thing or if you are upgrading. ... Yesterday evening was somewhat cool, they put the first Video add in the game for getting free gold coins. 3 coins to watch one video about K&N Air Filters... no problem... watched it 3 times, though it took a while for all the coins to show up. Either way, if they put more optional ads in the game I'll be more than happy to spam them for coins like I did with Extreme Road Trip 2. Car parts related stuff ties in well with this game, though I gotta wonder how that filter manages to work since some cars (like my Volvo) have sensors in the air intake system... and those sensors are key to efficiency.
Def. upgrading them. I can look through them all and post their current levels. I tested the offers that earn you gold. I just did the free credit report one. Took like five mins, and earned 350 gold coins instantly! I'm about to do some more lol.
Cool. I was hoping it was just upgrading. It hasn't stopped me completely, but that Mustang Shelby just tops me in the drag race. I was surprised though at the stock BMW M6 Coupe against the Porsche 911 GT3 RS...
