I looked at this video again and I cannot stop laughing! It's like being passed by a rocket ship!!!!! Maybe I haven't seen too many funny things lately, but that is the hardest I have laughed in a while. http://youtu.be/_IWITGW_0DU
Looks like I've already escaped the iaps. 10 cars - keep switching between them, and working my way toward the next car as I complete each series. One of the best racing games I've ever played on my phone, and that's saying a lot. The Mclaren is so sweet, even if the upgrades and repairs are way more expensive - wonder what it would be like fully upgraded? Looking forward to that!
Euh ok, for any by passing readers im gonna elaborate that u are referring to one of my comments and ask if u care to elaborate instead of just copy-pasting my entire comment??
Just figured out that you're not playing against all of your friends at a single event. What i mean by that is that you only play against 21 of your friends best times in one cup event. So the bonus you get for beating friends can be earned over a couple of races on the same event. Having roughly 70 friends playing this game i usually can play an event 2 times and get the 21x friend bonus both times. Earning so much R$ now
I own 5 cars, played for a total of around 2 or 3 hours, waited for maybe just a little under an hour in total and haven't paid a cent (although I haven't finished in 1st in all races, but I'm working on it). I don't get it, am I playing it wrong? Why haven't I been forced to pay real money yet?
I've put a couple hours into the game, and haven't felt the need to pay money. I do think it's a bit grindy, but having never played the previous games in the series, I'm not sure how it compares to those. I've just spent my time upgrading one car all the way and trying to save money from there to get the Shelby. I'll probably take that as far as it'll get me, and move on to another game. pretty fun so far!
I wonder if you realize that you, me, the people that run this site, other game sites, reviews, and everyone else here are the vocal minority? The silent majority meanwhile are looking at the appstore and trying out what is free and popular and the results of that are pretty much unknown. they certainly aren't scouring the internet for reviews and feedback from other gamers or gamesites. I might be in a subset of the minority here... but honestly, I have had more fun with mobile gaming over the last year than probably the last 5 years with consoles. There are just so many fresh ideas and experiences in this scene that I think it exceeds whats going on in the traditional console & handheld scene. ............ A sort of update, I have 14 cars, only bought one car (BMW Z4 M Coupe) at full price and have not spent any coins (currently have 189). My main complaint right now with the game is not the AI as much as the TSM. I've tried turning off my wifi & data, kill the game, restart it... and so on... but it seems once it's synced up I'm stuck with some racers that have times that are just impossible for me to match because I don't have the top end car with all the upgrades. Do I need to turn off "Share Usage Data" under the Help&About section? Or is there something else to do to disable (temporarily at least) the TSM opponents? I fear this will be the issue further along as I get more data from hackers because there aren't as many legit players on that level. So I hit a TSM-Wall of sorts that makes it hard to progress in certain cups. Example? Everyday Heroes. I did the sale on the Audi TT RS Coupe in the Prime Production Match-Up (under Production Masters), and I've eeked enough wins out to unlock the BMW M3 Coupe event (so of course I bought it at the discount) but dang well every single race is pretty much dominated by Porche 911 GT3 RS spam. Top 7 sometimes is hard to break into. Granted I LOVE the Audi, and the M3 isn't the end of the world, but that Porche just outclasses everything far far too much... especially in speed events. I was lucky to get through the drag race without facing one, but man... I feel like this is going to be an uphill battle to try and keep taking advantage of the sales which is what I was planning to do with the Porche (if I ever get enough medals to get that far). .... Total stats update (because I might as well make this post mega long): Total Time Played: 20:30:54 (includes time for servicing/upgrades/cardelivery) Earnings: R$973,330 Fame Points: 118470 User Level: 35 Total Gold Gained: 189 Event Status: 121 of 961 Total Trophies: 78 Gold, 21 Silver, 10 Bronze Cars: 14/46 Favorite Manufacturer: BMW Favorite Car: Nissan Silvia (no surprise since I had to use that so much early on) My Actual Favorite Car? Not sure. I do love that Audi TT and the 4 Wheel Drive... but the Shelby GT500 is a beast as is the BMW M3 GTS.
I love the endurance glitch lol. 6 CYL ANNIHILATION SERIES Turbo Burst European Faceoff Endurance Brands Hatch Indy Circuit I went as long as I could doing things just to try and lose faster lol. I banged up the car quite a bit. I ran it dry. After 30 mins of racing. I had to completely stop in order to be able to lose. I ended up stopped in 3rd place at 40+ miles.
I haven't figured out the glitch on that, but I have had some moments where I suddenly approached 10 AI cars all bunched up which helped me push further along. This is the kind of stuff that's ruining the experience. I have noticed though when I stop at the end of a long run that a ton of AI Cars pass me. I wonder if I stop and then get many to pass it'll help when I over take them to get back a longer run? Either way, I wish the dev had some "cap" on what is expected in some of these events instead of the TSM data.
I just want to say that I love this game. The graphics, race tracks, modes, cars are outstanding. The only thing that is missing in this game is Real time racing. I think we all can agree that in a real time racing situation, we all react a little differently, than racing against AI. Also, when you are actually racing someone in real time, your adrenaline is pumping even more, allowing you to want to race even better and usually your times are better. Maybe EA, took into consideration a lot of people in real time race situations will quit the game when they are losing, instead of sucking it up and finishing the race??? ( this is just a theory) but anyway the game is top notch. I would like to see EA implement real time racing though.
And this is what the Endurance Race Glitch looks like from the other side… http://youtu.be/jtdONQnk4qo Had this happen to me an hour ago and the race kept on going and going. Lost it on purpose after I finally made it to #1, beating someone else's glitched game… Sorry for the bad recording, had to steam the game to my Apple TV while my network was busy. Hope this will be fixed soon! iPhone 5, iOS 6.02, no Jailbreak Shelby GT500, no upgrades Performance Rumble Speedrush TV International Motorsport Exposition Endurance Silverstone
In the Endurance races, do you make more money the longer you go or is it the same amount for coming 1st regardless of your final distance?
The video is private so I can't watch it. If it gets flipped to public that would be cool. EDIT: Now it's public. Thanks.
Doesn't matter how far you go. I usually try to let the time run out when i pass first place so its not so bad on others.
I don't think so. You probably just get what #1 should get you. In the Endurance races, it sometimes happens that infinite groups of cars spawn in front of you, letting you race forever. I posted a Video on the previous page. Done, sorry.
