You need about 3gb for this

  2. Wowzers, Firemonkeys is here afterall. Thanks for reducing the wait timers down below one hour for damaged cars, and for decreasing the time to service.

Gameplay and graphics are great. Maybe if something could be done to tweak the AI it might help too. But enjoying the game nonetheless.

I've seen that video, and the second part is sort of hilarious :p

And, I totally agree with you. Doing some hell of laps in Laguna Seca, skipping the Corkscrew altogether, and I get second by a bullethole.
When I turn off the WiFi (and TSM) I get first with no big issues, doing a much more relaxed race.
Firemonkeys need to do something, because I'm playing against results that I can't beat. Because they are unbeatable.

When I go to a track like Southbank or, better Brands Hatch, the scenario totally changes.

This doesn''t work for me. The times/distances/oponents stay the same even after rebooting the ipad. The only thing that changes is the avatars are gone.

Same here, no issues on my 4S and I've put a lot of time in with the game over the weekend.

    .....

I've read a lot of complaints about getting rear ended. I have yet to have that happen unless I ran off the track and tried to get back on amongst a bunch of cars. I have yet to dip into the super car side of the game ... Is that when this happens more? I've purposely positioned myself infront of cars to block them from passing and the AI tried to adjust and get around me but didn't rear end me. I have however clipped cars and ran them into the walls at Indianapolis .... that was fun.

Is it possible to sell cars? I want to sell my nissan silvia s15

  7. I think it is far funner in this game, to pretend that it is a bumper car game and just ram cars, force them into walls, box them out and not let them pass, and go through the grass to pass. Sure not realistic at all, but hella fun. And now that I got 4 cars, wait timers don't affect me at all, so enjoying the game. Now if they could only add guns so I can shoot those zombie ai drivers, this game would be a blast! Hehe. ;)

    Question:

How does the repair work for this game?
Do muscle cars have a higher value in $$ for repairing compared to domestic cars? What's the tier rank from lowest to highest in repairs. I think it's good to know this in helping save money for the long run. I have a ford Shelby gt 500 and omg the repairs on that are expensive compared to my previous two cars for the 1st and 2nd areas of purchase.

I think I just got my seventh car. First bought the Nissan Silva, then two more cars that showed up on sale while I was trying to save up for something else (Ford Focus and the lower end Dodge Challenger) then the Mclaren, then the Nissan Syliner and Ford Shelby Gt, then just got the Nissan 370z on sale.

A little to for those who want to save on cars, when playing a series, keep an eye on the next cup(s) as you unlock each tier. Look for ones that indicate it is a showcase race - if it is a car you do not have yet, do not unlock it UNTIL you have 80 % of the value of that car saved up (easy enough to check the price in the store), then as soon as that showcase is opened up, you will be able to take advantage of each sale that comes your way - they are not random, you determine what comes on sale next. Once you unlock several cars, it will be a lot easier to play other series or replay older races to earn the money needed (and if you miss out on a couple of the earlier sales, its not that big of a deal - make sure you are prepared for the upcoming sales on the more expensive cars!!). If you are determined to keep playing newer races, always make sure you got a buffer of spare money saved up - do not always upgrade your vehicles the moment you get more money (at least do not spend all of your money at once for upgrades so you are ready for the next sale).

Some sounds are absolute crap. Actually most are. The engine sounds are actually pretty neat but the tire squeals and squeaks suck.

So unless you get through the game fast enough it will be a horrible pain to come in first place eventually? Add me Malik112099

Most cars are in more than one series, so if you missed out on a sale in some of your first series, keep an eye out to see what other series that same car might be in - and with a bit of foreplanning, you may still be able to catch that car on sale (assuming each car goes on sale in each series showcase the first time you unlock them). I am going to see if this will work for the Dodge Challenger Srt8 and the Bmw Series one I missed the sales on.

I think there are general times set for the top three positions in each race, but you get more prize money when you go back and beat your friends' times.

Since this game came out, it is the only game that I have played. I have not spent a single penny on anything. i wouldn't have the audacity to try to think of a reason to whine or complain about this game. Instead I think I'll just keep on playing it and keep on having an amazing time. Great job EA!

Not having any problems getting rear-ended myself. I play fairly rough with the AI pretty often, diving straight into the pack, overtaking on turns by going too fast, sideswiping them and letting them carry me around the bend, but I very rarely have to repair the rear bumper compared with everything else. Repairs are so not a problem, at least not where I'm up to: I get less money left over this way but I'm still comfortably turning a profit.

I was going to get the Porsche for 150 gold - currently at around 160 - but the posts on here have me tempted to save up for one of the Zondas (or whichever supercar it was that costs 300). Don't know if I'll have quite the patience for that, though. Decisions, decisions.

Having two problems. One, I have a red notification number next to one of the race venues, that I can't seem to get rid of.

Also, I keep getting notifications when out of game for the same upgrade being finished, even though I've checked it in game, I keep getting the same update every ten minutes.

I'd buy the Porsche and then go for the Zonda R, which costs 400 coins btw. The Porsche has allowed me to win several races and handles beautifully.

Aside from levelling up, you are granted coins for completing 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% (I guess this last one because I haven't fully completed any championship yet) of each championship. The more difficult the competition, the more coins you get. I got around 16-17 coins for a 75% completion in one of the high-tier competitions.

If you like the game as I do, you will eventually get the 400 coins. I have the McLaren (65 coins), the Porsche (150 coins) and 312 coins saved towards buying the Pagani Zonda R (400 coins). The only car I see very, very difficult to buy without spending real money is the Koenigsegg (800 coins). Of course, you can get it, but I have around 52 hours of total gameplay and I have only achieved around 540 coins overall. This means that I'll have to play around 200 hours to get the 800 coins for the Koenigsegg (and don't forget I'm still missing 88 coins for the Pagani Zonda R).

Anyway, all in all it's a fantastic game IMHO. I've only played RR3 since it came out in NZ more than two weeks ago. I have achieved around 44% completion, I have 20 cars and I am very happy with timers. I don't grind (yet), just try to beat all the races I haven't beaten, upgrade cars, and race towards 100% completion.

Thank you for posting this. The TSM feature is one of the worst features ever implemented into any game IMO.
By turning off my Wi-Fi/TSM the game has become so much more relaxing.

Hey Firemonkey Sam, why is there no TSM on/off button in the settings?

There are definitely bugs in the TSM that need fixing, mostly to do with impossible Endurance results, but I've rarely found many other targets I cannot beat - at worst I just go away and level up on something else, then come back and try again with a different set of opponents. It's frustrating when you get a head-to-head against someone who completely outclasses you the first time you try, but I don't consider it a gamebreaker. "Worst feature ever" is hyperbole pure and simple, IMO. But then I don't play racing games to relax. :p
