Went shopping with the wife for an hour or so... Queued up 100% servicing on my BMW & Silvia .. Bought the Ford Shelby GT 500 (because it provided access to 3 new race groups)... Turned the game back on and everything is done. I need to grind a bit before continuing in a few of the areas because one more trophy in several of them unlocks the next specific car challenge and I want to take advantage of the deals.
You can also tamper with iExplorer or similar, the download history and the app folder itself, I got to solve a problem with iBooks that way. Nonetheless, I recommend trying TheMostUnclean's suggestions first.
I recommend going for cars that open new competitions. If you have the Nissan Silvia, don't get the Ford Focus, get another car which opens new races. I love the Audi R8. You'll have to grind a bit to buy it, but it controls beautifully. Added you to GC
Wow this game is total trash. Can't believe I've had my hopes up for this ever since I purchased my iPhone5. Pretty graphics doesn't make a game fun and this game is far from it. The cars drive like crap and it seems the upgrades make your car even worse?? WTF? Hey Firemonkeys, take some notes from EA, they got it right... Already deleted. Good riddance.
You do realize that EA owns Firemonkeys, and that Firemonkeys (Firemint & Iron Monkeys) made all the Real Racing and Need for Speed right?
The problem I have with this game is how by default, the game handles the braking, acceleration, and traction control, all you have to do is steer. And if you want to be the one in control, and you turn off all the assists, good luck trying to get faster times, because the games brake assist and traction control gives you perfect cornering. I wish it could be like Forza where you can disable all assists, and be faster than the people using the assists. Firemint has failed to properly match racers up with equal competition, just as Real Racing 2 did with the live races. Golfs racing Supercars? No bueno. This is supposed to be the racing simulator on iOS, and there is just not enough incentive to race with the assists off. Basically this makes winning races only a matter of having the upgrades to make your car faster than the competition, since the element of skill is drastically reduced, and this gameplay model only serves to promote their IAP centric scheme. It's too bad they couldnt stick to the perfect multiplayer system of competing for the best track times in live sessions like Real Racing 1, and keep the excellent handling of that game. They lost their way, they let EA buy them out and destroy their essence like EA has done many times before. RR3 is just a cash grab.
LMFAO. He doesn't realize that it was EA who royally screwed this game. Lookup EA's wikipedia page. Read the criticisms section. They have a long tradition with buying up IP's and destroying them.
Rest assured, having the brake and accelerate assists turned off definitely makes you a faster driver, so long as your good at driving. I keep brake assist off for all but one track currently and in all cases having it turned off let me keep on the gas longer and make much much better times.
Well, progress report.... Loving the game still aside from a few missing features i'd like to see included to extend the gameplay... Stats: Total Time Played: 31h 54m Earnings: R$3,132,560 Spent: R$2,891,235 Total Gold Earned: 312 Currently Sitting on: R$276,325 & 18Gold (spent it on the Mclaren and upgrades in the end) Level: 51 Next car on the shopping list: Nissan GT-R Premium (R35) Audi R8 V10 Coupe Think they both open up 2 championship series are near the top of the list (and upgradable) My Cars, and i'll include whether i would buy it again on a re-play Ford Focus RS (Great car) Nissan 350Z (another great car) Ford Shelby GT500 (love it and opens up many champs) McLaren Mp4-12C (mixed on this, its fun but upgrades are very expensive and costs gold to buy) BMW ! Series M Coupe (Worth it) BMW Z4 SDrive 35Is (Takes a few upgrades to get it good and i'd maybe reconsider this one) Porsche 911 GT3 RS (Loads of fun and tail happy) BMW M3 GTS (Wouldn't buy this again) Audi R8 LMW Ultra (Bought cos it was on offer) Currently progressing nicely.... haven't spent a single REAL pound in this game and now don't feel the need to unless at some point i feel like getting one of the exotics or they introduce a track & car pack or something... i'll pay for content not for money Tips: The final races in a section give VERY good money ... I just got almost R$50,000 from a single race... best ones: Pro/AM World Series: Street-spec Skirmish: Mastare GLobal Grand Finale at Mount Panorama (had a full grid of GC friends and placed 1st) Production Masters: Road Car International: Supafly World Cup Finals at Mount Panorama & Susuka both give another good R$50,000 or there abouts
I'd totally rethink buying the Ford GT Le Mans (or whatever it's called). I don't seem to "tame" it, even with upgrades. The Audi R8 and Audi R8 Le Mans handle way, way better...
OMG the repair now button is waaaay too sensitive. I accidentally tapped it with my knuckle and now I'm down 10 gold on repairs. Damn it all!
