Somewhere, deep in the bowels of my apartment, there is an iPad HDMI adapter... haven't seen it in a year though... EDIT: right after posting that, I decided to finally go on a search for the missing HDMI adapter... Found it! Seriously, how did it end up with all the supplies for the lizard?
I'd rather pay .99, 1.99, or even 2.99 for a full game without IAP's than have a free game with IAP's which at the end is more like a $20 game. The graphics for RR2 are better than this BTW, so many disappointments...
RR3 plays awesome on hdmi tv, come join the HDMI Loverz Group here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=173262 You better find it before a mouse ears it! And girls will think you are as sexy as me! And you can become famous! Haha. This picture is of Table top racing which will be on sale for a buck this weekend. Get it if you don't have it.
Funny, the description of this game says that the size of the game is around 650mb, but when the entire game is downloaded and installed, it's around 1.8gb of space. That's false advertising, which I'm pretty damn sure is illegal. It's not really a problem right now, but if they put a real price on this game in the future, they better change the description of the game size. Nobody wants to find out later that a game they bought can't even fit on their iDevice because of some false advertising. :/
EVEN $2.99! Breaking the bank there aren't you This game is easily worth $19.99 without the timers and gold.
That is the size of the download, so I am not sure that's false advertising. They may want to put a note in the description, though, since there is a rather large difference between the packed and unpacked app.
After playing this is there any skill to this game and if I turn off the assistance can I get better times?
Not sure all the hate for the IAP system. Real Racing 2 had IAP and it was a paid-game. Just imagine this game is $10. Play the game normal, and buy some currency when you feel something is "intolerable". I've been playing since the NZ release, and I haven't spent any money on it yet. So if you end up spending less than $10, you win. Otherwise, I'm sure you'll still get your $10-worth out of it. So please, can't we stop complaining and just enjoy the game? I'd argue that based on your "types", there is quite a bit of blur between B and C. Temple Run 2, Jetpack Joyride are essentially "grind" games, where you have to play a lot to get further. Or you can pay to speed it up. It's 'essentially' the same thing with Real Racing 3. You are never 'forced' to pay money.
Yes! They are trying to make this game accessible to everyone so if you are playing with all the assists on you are hardly playing anything. Switch to control B with manual acceleration and turn off brake assist and start to enjoy your own progress.
Skills? Wow, think it does hehe. Yes, turning off all assists is faster but harder, and easy to spinout.
Guys, is it me or the graphic is worse than RR2? I loaded them both and switch between the 2 in multitasking. RR3 has more detailed car models and scenery. but overall it looks more grainy, "noisy". RR2 looks much more polished, clean and fluid. Anyone?
