Sync If I buy this using a NZ store account, will my progress sync when I eventually buy it in the US store? I know some 'server-side' games like RAD Soldiers were able to sync up after buying it in the Canada and then US store. Not sure how RR3 stores it's data tho...
Devs shouldn't aim to limit gamers to short sessions lol. They should be able to give short bursts, but not limit them to that. 4 to 5 races, 20 or so mins, and then the player has the ability to take breaks in short stints, or as long as they want to take a break, without losing progress or being forced to grind longer than they want to play for a session. Definitely not an great idea to FORCE breaks after getting 20 mins of game play, and then HAVING to wait hours to play again.
While as a gamer I agree, as a dev the numbers shown to me basically say 'Thou shalt prevent players from playing more than X". Where X is a complicated formula and a few hundred thousand play sessions of beta testing.
I wouldn't have too much of an issue with IAP in this game if they didn't make it inherent that your car WILL need to be serviced over time. This is something you cannot avoid. Eventually you will have to repair your engine, replace your oil, etc. since cars need maintenance as you use them. Doesn't matter how skilled you are. And repair times can range from 15 minutes to 3 HOURS.
The only positive thing is it actually forces you to switch cars and go for different stuff, and since there are lots of challenges... The real problem is, how long will it take for you to get the cool cars and stuff?
Well I imagine if everything is shot to hell, yeah it could be way well over...and I'm using the first car still so times are probably multiplied for better cars Hope you enjoy doing a handful of races per day
nope, even with a 100% repaired car you can still have to wait 6 hours and more for service alone! service has nothing to do with repair you know!
The CSR comparisons just keep appearing : * Resprays cost -gold- , not racebucks. Actual gold. Want to redecorate your car, prepare to pony up. * Gold exclusive cars, and yes, they're as mean fisted as they are in CSR racing about it, the lower level "entry" gold cars might be affordable -just-, if you save up and don't speed up your services or repairs, but the collectors ones require 800 gold, who the hell thought that was a good idea? * Dealer "Sales" and "exclusives" , I just had one pop up, offering me a discount on a car, interestingly even with the discount I would have had to top up my race bucks with you guessed it - Real money. I sincerely hope whoever reviews this is going to put it next to CSR, the result would be *worth it*.
just found out that some upgrades also costs gold! i did the last engine upgrade on my first car and only had the choice to do it with 5 gold coins!
EAs official website says you can access everything without paying real life money, and that is current... Hmmm This game could take months to complete lol.
Look whats the point of complaining guys!!!! 1. This game is AWESOME 2. Nothing comes close in this genre 3. IAP is unfortunately the future 4. YOU DONT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY I have been playing for a few hours and i dont give a toss about IAP just get over it and enjoy. Yes people with lots of money will advance quicker, but i choose not to pay for everything although i can afford it.
Tell me please someone is this coming to the uk tonight or is there no need for me to get excited for a 12am midnight release
