    That remains to be proven.

Be patient. Some will get there.

This may be true. And we shall separate men from children. ;)

Seriously though, not all gamers seek the same experience. Some are more casual and will be content with reaching the PRO series, and others need the challenge and will try to go all the way. This is really a huge game, so it offers something to every type of racing-lover.

Wait what? They actually pulled RR1 and RR2 from the AppStore? Great job screwing over your customers Firemint..

Edit: You on the official (hidden n secret) Toucharcade shit list. Only a handful ever make it that far! No, no one can see that list, it's...hidden..

The solution to the timer iap problem is simple. Stop paying. Eventually developers and publishers will realize timers are not a good way of implementing iap.

The apparent success of timer based games on the appstore is misleading. The developers/publishers of many of those games are paying shady companies to post fake reviews. Also, some companies are purchasing iap themselves with revenue generated through legit iap purchases. This helps to propel the game up the charts and make it appear more financially successful than it really is.

Timer-based iap will come to an end. Give it some time (pun intended).

I am first to admit that I love this game and want it to be successful. But I am bitterly disappointed with the wait times now. I have no issue with IAP, and I thought the balance of the game, as in Racing V Waiting times, was good. But to go to bed at 10.30, wake up at 7.00 and still have an hour left on a service is just too much.

    Jetpack Joyride
    Whale Tail
    Storm the Train

Almost ALL Endless Runners (20 games)

I like all above, even if they are freemium.

Just don't like wait timers one bit especially 15 hour waits...

But I am an optimist, i will hope for the best by the US Release. Problem is this last update increased the timers not decreased them like we all expected. But I still will hope for the best.

Attached, hdmi tv picture from my new ipad.

Nice. Is that 2x zoom? It shows a little HDMI lag that's easiest to see in the right rear tire on the white car. but it's very minor lag.

No, this game is what I call my Zoom 4x mode, which is stretched to full screen with no aspect ratio loss. Which basically cuts off a little of the top and bottom. But I prefer to play this game like that, cause the little that is cut off doesn't make a difference, Attached is a picture of stretch to fit mode on my tv. I will try to post a zoom 2x mode picture in the hdmi forum tomorrow for you, cause I rarely use it for landscape games, I use that for portrait games like Cave Shumps.

Ahh, I gotta respond to both Greyskulls tilt and your lag thing sometime in the hdmi, check out the hdmi thread, there are a lot of new pictures of Real Racing 3 and Flashout.

    Cheers.

Attached "Stretch" mode via hdmi tv... Compare to Zoom 4x mode below:

Zoom 4x mode screenshot cause the other went to another page..

Edit: notice the aspect ratios. Zoom 4x has no aspect ratio change. So in this game, I prefer it, but most games, I prefer stretch mode. Racing games, usually it doesn't matter if some is clipped from the top and bottom, actually some play better that way to get a hallway effect. You seem to dislike aspect ratio changes, so you may like zoom 4x mode better if your tv supports it.

Is it still in our purchased history?

I got 7000 games, how can I find it quickly? Last time I scrolled through a thousand games to find one game, I almost felt like putting a gun to my head.

  13. I didn't buy Real Racing :'(

I still have Real Racing 2 on a computer though

Yeah, it's something that's hard to do with older purchased games. But it can be done. My suggestion... when you get what you want on your device... back it up to a PC and back that up to a separate external drive.

I don't have a pc anymore, and the ones I have access to, I am strictly not allowed to install anything, even though technically, I could. Itunes is not allowed period, it was the biggest offender of people wasting time and resources of the computers.

Can't believe they would pull Real Racing and Real Racing 2, that is really low. Oh well. Guess if I can't find it, will never get a chance to play RR2 again cause it was such a great game. And the ironic thing is that most people will delete RR2 to make disk space for RR3, then when they delete RR3 due to the wait timers issue and zombie like ai, they will be shocked. Sigh.

Oh, well, I will be an optimist, maybe they will put it back. Apple won't give a refund on RR2 if you bought it over a month ago, so we all are out of luck.

Edit: screenshot of what I get when searching for Real Racing now on the US store.

wth, just found out they pulled RR1 and RR2 from the app store? I think it's obvious why they did it but that is super low, even for EA. So people that own the previous 2, will the game and mp still work, or did they close the servers for both games?

Shame on you EA, that is just too low, especially after just putting RR2 on sale !

Really shitty move. Forcing people into their really messed up freemium, for lack of better words. One can be a sheep, like the people going "this is reality yada yada therefor its ok!", or choose not to support these _scams_. My gaawd it is so easy to manipulate people it's scary.

Doesn't seem to be in mine. Both the standard and HD versions of 1 and 2 are missing from my purchase history.

guys...relax. Just open the App Store on your iDevice, open the purchased list, click sort by name...scroll to R, and voila...you have Real Racing 2

Edit: WTF? It's even gone from the purchased list!! Nothing usually gets pulled from the purchased list. I still have iDOS, iMAME, and a bunch of other 'pulled' apps. But Real Racing (both SD and HD), and Real Racing 2 (both SD and HD) are not appearing!!

Seriously...WTF! Is this sort of a decision made with Apple?
