Based on player feedback we tweaked the difficulty levels in the last update for Real Racing 2 HD on iPad - these changes will make it through to the next iPhone update. I won't talk specifics, but thanks for sharing your thoughts - we always appreciate it!
The new update is out but it says it only addresses Easy/Medium. Personally, I've always felt that the old Medium was much too easy while the old Hard was much too hard. Has Hard mode also been tweaked in this new update? Also, how much memory do I need available to update RR2 (regular version, not HD)?
I found the gap between easy and medium too wide personally. I am hoping medium is somewhat easier in the update. I enjoy rr2 but have found rr1 more playable due to the difficulty levels being dialed in right for me. If rr2 is now the same I will be a happy camper.
Also, how much memory do I need available to update RR2 (regular version, not HD)?[/QUOTE] It takes up exactly 1gb of space after the update. Don't remember how much space it took up before.
How is the difficulty in the new update? Is Easy easier and Medium harder? Or the other way round? I hope they bring 5 difficulty settings to cater to wider audience, say: Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard.
Is there a way to play multiplayer against people who have similar performance cars? It's no fun for me right now, I can't even compete because everyone else has the expensive cars and I have the noobie ones. I always end up last
None that I've seen. Best bet is to rank up in the career and once you have completed campaign you'll get the mclaren f1 for free. Other option is to just leave the match multiplayer assigns you and keep retrying until you find a match with lower cars. There is an auto match as far as i know that used to work in the beginning but really you're gonna need a top end race car for mutiplayer if you want to win a race. Another way is local wifi against friends. Anyway, the campaign is the best part of the game, the mutiplayer just makes you keep it on your device.
Hi. My game keeps crashing upon startup. It does the introduction video and comes to the menu and crashes. How to fix this?
I'm curious, I bought Real Racing 2 a few days ago at full price, but I didn't realise there was a HD version. I bought it because I'd just purchased a 4S, and I was wondering, would the HD version be able to run on my 4S/is it meant for the 4S, and would it look any better, or is the regular version all I can get? Thanks, and I hope that isn't too confusing to understand.
Thanks for the quick and direct answer. I'll make sure to keep that in mind whenever I go buying games.
While it's good to keep it mind, you should also remember that not *every* game that it titled HD is for iPad though. Quite a lot are either Universal or fully compatible with the 4S as well, like Galaxy on Fire 2 HD -- which is for iPad *and* 4S =) Best thing to do is just read the iTunes store page. For example; Real Racing 2 HD specifically states "for iPad" and the requirements state "Requirements: Compatible with iPad."
Does anyone know how to unlock the McLaren GTR car? I can't seem to buy it...and I won the sixth championship and I didn't get it there as well. I need the car as everyone in multiplayer seems to be using it.
Just bought this game a few days ago and have been enjoying it, I'm having an issue though. I'm on my third set of races, Monacato Challenge and I'm in the second race, McKinley Circuit. When going into turn one my car automatically down shifts and I have no control over the steering wheel. I have all the assist set to "off" except for brakes to 20%. It's getting frustrating. I'll restart and then sometimes it works through turn one only to happen again through the 2nd or 3rd turn. WTH?! HALP! Edit: I'm on an iPhone 5
I mean for 99 cents its a steal but with real racing 3 coming up should I get this app? Impulsive buy >.
Actually a better question, will iPhone 4S users see the console like graphics or is that an iPhone 5 exclusive? If so doesn't hurt to buy real racing 2 now.
