Actually, Krugerfontein is one of my favorites and I end up playing it often in the multiplayer mode. If they allowed you to join a race track instead of vote for one that might alter the rankings since there are a few that do not play the game as intended. On San Arcana and Kings Speedway, some players simply ride the railings instead of steering and win the race since they turned off their brakes. On that note, it would be great of the game could identify those racers and and penalize them.
Cheat/Bugs and Good Racers Theres been abit of a storm kicking-off about online cheaters and saboteurs. Alot of gamers are reporting instances where racers "teleport","bump into corners to increase speed" and "cornering with ridiculous speeds" http://getsatisfaction.com/firemint/topics/cheat_bump_bug_in_online_racing Has any one seen any of this On the other hand there are some very good racers online, to name afew- f1 frek (rank #2) 1995 Mclaren F1 VERY good technical racer ! WasaCom (rank #3) BMW Z4 Another good racer and well rated as they don't use the usual weapon-of-choice, the 1995 F1 Coral7 (rank #4) 1995 Mclaren F1 Hardly ever makes any mistakes and got their cornering down to a T I'll do full write-ups of them all plus a screen-cap later. Must say I haven't bumped into #1 yet and i've been on there alot lately Btw i'm GTRacerS if you see me online toot your horn
I've definitely seen teleporting, many many times. I thought it was an internet connection problem. What do u mean by bumping into corners? And I think I've seen cornering at ridiculous speeds, but maybe the guy behind you hit the apex right, got on the throttle early, and therefore had quicker exit speed. But there's a guy that got 28.76 seconds at King's speedway... while nobody else got below 31. Either he's a really amazing racer or..... Seen F1 Frek online, he's good!
Nah I think you just havin connection probs. I've seen times of 28 seconds before lots of times so I would not say it was someone cheating.
In ref to the Kingsway track I would'nt say it's exactly cheating... I would say it's rather more taking advantage of the features of the track. Racers "hug the wall" for the entire period of the race. Must say I have done it myself intentionally and non intentionally. when you go round corners on that track it's hard sometimes not to slam and get pinned against the wall, so racers just stay there, It does work, I had a sustained speed of 235mph all the way, an I finished 1st But I don't really like that track so tend to vote for other tracks
I'm talking about Time Trial lap times, not the laps in online multiplayer races. Those online-multiplayer King's Speedway lap times can get under 25 seconds if you "hug" after the 1st lap. TIME TRIAL MODE: If you check out the leaderboards (in-game), you'll see that the 1st placed guy got 31.333 seconds. This 1st placed guy is 2nd in the GAMECENTER app. If you check out the GAMECENTER, the 2nd placed guy (overall) for King's Speedway got 31.33, while the 1st got 28.76. let me show you the screenshots. If that 28.76 lap is genuine, I'd love to see that on Youtube, to see which lines he took. The 31.333 lap is on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcOiAPl2kog
I nearly finished the campaign earlier but got bored with the app and decided to remove it too make space for some other apps, now i want to try it again with the updates and all...but don't wanna start all over is there a way to restore my progress if i didn't "back up" my apps"
If you use Game Center you can access the 'Restore Save' feature. At the main menu select Pitlane>Profile>Player Settings, then tap the Restore Save button. Select your desired save data and tap the Restore button.
Are you signed in to Game Center? Can you also check your network connection by loading Safari on your device? I've just checked it out on an iPod Touch 4 and it seems to be working for me.
I have 2 bar wifi connection and its working fine to reply here. After about 5 min it says error cgeck connection and CC connectivity which i checked is also on. Im also signed in to GC EDIT:Finally got it to connect and restored my save. Thanks for the help and quick responses!
Other Online Racers I agree with you there. If I'm in a race with Coral7, WASA or f1 frek and make one mistake I can pretty much throw in the towel and expect to come 2nd or 3rd. Gossy and BlazingBuzzard are among many others I can always feel on my tailpipe or trailing behind. It is quite a bit of fun racing against some of these guys. Sometimes the time difference in these races is .020 of a second. FRH3
I just made a Favorites folder on my iPhone and sifted through the 160+ games I have, not including the oh so many that have been deleted. RR2 made the cut into my All Time Top 12!
Car Selections I would like offer my own two cents on possible new car selections. I understand Firemint would have to deal with licensing issues and costs which could be prohibitive. Nonetheless, I would enjoy a selection of Saab and Porsche cars. As the ultimate award for those who have earned all the achievements they should be handed the keys to a 1971 Porsche 917 (Gulf-Porsche). FRH3
Ha ! the BATMOBILE Porsche, that would be a nice addition, not sure how it will handle amongst those bumping pack of wolves online. It's got a long rear end too so not too sure about handling, the existing cars with no 'anti skid' are bad enough on corners
The short-tail 1971 Porsche 917 would be great. The long-tails would simply fly off the track. '71 917 - 5.0 liter flat 12 twin turbo with 1,100 bhp. I'll need a car like this to keep f1frek and the others off my tail.
