As much as we'd all like to see new cars down the line(*fingers crossed*), I personally think that if we could customize our current cars cosmetically(photo editor, rim color/rim options, etc) to add a more personal tailored feel...that would be a HUGE update in itself and very refreshing on the eyes in both single and/or multiplayer. I feel RR2 has everything but lack of personalization(very bland in just being able to respray with a very limited amount of colors which makes getting new cars simply a generic task because we can't add LIFE to them).

The longivety is definetly here in RR2 as it is in RR1 to this very date. I know the devs are going to give us all the same satisfaction as they have. I'm extremely happy with everything about RR2 minus that lack of; but like in RR1 I know RR2 WILL stay on my devices until the next one comes out which is something I can't say about the majority of games within the Appstore(they get played and deleted) that I have purchased.

    first,
    *aides

But yeah, turn off aides/assists and your times will go down dramatically. However this post reminds me of another suggestion that was lingering in the back of my mind.

One of my friends is an avid racing sim player. I noticed on one of the games he started playing a while ago that there's an option for those people new to sim racers: you can turn on a guideline that will show you the best line to take. I know the Real Racing games already have the skidmarks (which make it a bit less fun to get to know the track and work it out myself, now that we're on the subject - maybe an option to turn them off? They're like spoilers), but the different thing about these lines was that they'd read your speed and turn red when you need to brake and green when it was time to accelerate. So not only is it helping them find the line, it's also helping them take the corner at the most efficient speed.

Naturally such an option would be disabled for higher difficulty levels/tournaments and for multiplayer.

Please don't do this. Adding vinyls/decals/whatever to cars is a total waste of space. I feel like if that's your cup of tea, maybe go the arcade racing route? Sim racing is more about... racing. Arcade racing is about the visual googly stuff. Giving the cars a different color paintjob is plenty, don't waste your time/space with massive audio speakers in the trunk, underside LEDs, and other stuff that doesn't affect the racing experience at all.

Customization by way of more performance parts, or tuning of said performance parts (e.g. changing/setting tyre pressure, anti-roll bars, sway bars, gearing, suspension, aero, camber settings, etc etc). Now that's real customization. It gives the car your own personality, while at the same time, actually affecting the outcome of racing.

Nah...They implemeted it perfectly in the ipad version(RR1 photo editor) and thats all I'm simply saying. I respect your opinion but if its a waste of space to you, then dont utilize it. Giving rims different colors would be great but not neccesary. I feel that the game is complete other than that.

The Leaderboards are inaccurate. I had the best time in Time Trial on McKinley Circuit like 5 days ago, and it's still not there yet.

Not going to comment on the car textures/rim color/whatever issue because frankly I don't care. But this! This is a good idea. I was disappointed in the available upgrades.

Like I said with the car damage issue in a previous post - if you're going to do it, do it all the way.

    Maybe in Real Racing 3!

Just got my 4G Touch to replace the old 1G, first set of games I popped in were Adventure Island, Bruce Lee and Real Racing 2.

Oh my. This game looks incredible, probably the best graphics I've seen on the device so far, Everything looks like a console game, and all the cars are washed down, polished and buffed.

I'm really going to enjoy this.

Difference like Night and Day, right? :)
Apple are going to make sooooo much money from selling ever-improving iDevice hardware that captures the beauty of even better games, like this generation of RR2, Avalon, Rage and Infinity Blade. Happy days!

Well RR2 has managed to grow on me despite my 7.5 rating of it. However I think firement knows there's still room for improvement.

    1. Higher frame rate to make it on par with RR1 in smoothness. I know this is asking for a lot since this game is pushing a whole lot more textures than RR1, but firemint see what you can do.

    2. Allow us to save those beautiful cinematic replays.

    3. Online classes and have McLaren F1 players only go against eachother. It seems the F1 has the highest HP, best handling, fastest recovery (from drift and sand), and fastest acceleration.

    4. More sound effects when bumping and trading paint with other cars like in RR1.

    5. This is a personal one; I'd like a new map that is there just for fun which would have many ramps to drive off, static and moving obstacles in the middle of the road to avoid. Again, this would be just a map to have fun doing silly things. I really would love to see how my Corvett lands after a 300 feet jump : )

Not so much voting, but just commenting and adding to the discussion in general would be cool.

I hope Firemint adds car classes to the leader boards and online. It is really stupid to only race the McLaren. I love some of the drifty heavy cars and the nice little hatchbacks.

I want to see separate leader boards for them on each track and have the choice in multi-player.

    Please! :)

    Offline achievements

Sorry to disturb, but I have a tiny problem that you could answer, if you may.

I've had some connection problems so some of my achievements are "unlocked" in Real Racing 2, but not in the GameCenter application.

I've read somewhere that it is possible to post offline achievements to GameCenter.
    How should I do ?

    Thanks a lot !
