Great, BTW how is determinated the starting position in multiplayer races? I joined a lobby as the third one, then more people joined but I started as the last one
Sounds great! Thanks. Multiplayer is actually really fun when there aren't any foul play going around
Aside from people driving backwards, I've experienced NO PROBLEMS in multiplayer. And I'm glad Firemint is still watching and contributing to this thread, given how the tone of it has been. Just deleted GT Racing. It *was* the 'big racer' for me until RR2, although in retrospect I would usually choose and play RR1 instead. Hey Firemint, any chance of adding a track or two that are dirt and/or snow that have a rally feel? Especially with your association with VW, you know it makes sense ;-)
that's great to know I just played several multiplayer races looking backwards when they started and in ALL of them more than one car immediately turned around
I keeping getting 1st place or 2nd on time trials according to the online leaderboards but I'm never able to get the game to connect to the leaderboards to post the time. Argg.
Hi GregB, please head over to http://www.firemint.com/support to suggest ideas such as this. This will make it much easier for us to track the idea when I pass it on to the dev team. This applies to everyone with ideas/questions/problems - while I can't always reply to the many comments on forums like this, I'll always look after our players at our support site.
I was just playing online multiplayer on Castellona Bay track. There was a jerk that was going reversed all the time. My goal was to find out the jerk's nick, so I had to drive reversed as well, and after several attempts I was finnaly able to catch him. The jerk's nick is Remikez! So, Firemint Sam, is there any chance you can ban that jerk? P.S. I just came back on Castellona Bay to play and that jerk is still doing the same thing. So, he is there for hours ruining the online multiplayer. He should be banned permanently by Firemint.
Looks like rally tracks have been suggested on the support site. Neat way it works - you enter your suggestion and the site shows you the closest match to suggestions already made.
LOL, you're just another internet warrior. Just keep typing insults hiding behind keyboard, and please, do not forget to keep driving backwards.
No i'm beeing serious. Spending time to "catch" a random dude to snitch on his behaviour... Like really? What are you winning with this so-called 'achievement'?! It only makes you look like an idiot who has too much time on his hands. Instead, adress the REAL problem wich is the unfair challenge of a supercar racing normal cars wich is absolutly no challenge at all. At all I say.
Now, you made me worry about your mental state. I did not enter online multiplayer until I UNLOCK the fastest car. Can you understand that. So what stopping guys like you of finishing the Career Mode and get the fastest car and not entering online multiplayer cause you stand no chance to win. If the guys like YOU are not able to finish the Career Mode and get the fastest car even with the EASY Career Difficulty, then you should go and play Angry Birds!
but i don't like angry birds But seriously guys do suck it up and stay up for 3 extra hours and get a nice car. It won't hurt. AI doesn't bite.
See, I don't blame you for missing the whole point wich I made very clear to you why that is. (see previous post -> hence the term 'retarded'). Multiplayer is something you should pick up n play. That means that you could enter an online game any time without beeing the total dork by finishing the career mode in 15h non-stop just to drive in your supercar. Instead, make it like an option to drive your own modified car in a spefific racing type of game but for the moment it's really unbalanced. Basic saying, if I want to finish career mode on my tempo, then it should't afflect multiplayer! Capish? Now go back and play with your ipod son before someone catches you in.
Firemint, for the 'string of success' achievement does it matter if you leave the app or multiplayer lobby? if I win say 4 races in a row and then quit RR2 to come back later am I still going to have to race another 6 or 10 races in a row?
OK dad, since you called me son, I am 41 years old, so you must be in your late 60's? That could explain why you driving backwards!!! 15 hours non-stop to unlock the fastest car??? I'm sorry you wasted $9.99!!! It took me only a few hours to unlock the fastest car, cause I am really good driver, I was one of the best driving RR1 and I will be one of the best driving RR2, so no hard feelings. Why don't you go and develop a game the way you want? P.S. Please do not forget to drive backwards when you enter online multiplayer? And keep in mind, there's always Angry Birds waiting for you. OK Angry Birds, I have to go to bed now. Sweet dreams little one Sleep well, good night
I'm not going to waste time playing campaign mode and only focus on its multiplayer. But then, I find out you have to play through campaign mode to drive the fastest cars for multiplayer! There's obviously only one solution for this: if I can't enjoy a great multiplayer experience, I'll make sure others can't either.
I love the game but i seem to run into a minor bug when i bought the 2010 Jaguar XKR, the acceleration when looking at it to buy or checking it in the "MY CARS" section the acceleration is higher, but when you customize it from performance the acceleration gets pretty low.
For the issue of people going backwards in MP, make a limit of how long a player can drive backwards.
