You don't have to post it on facebook or whatever. You just have to be under 500. But...there's a bug in the leaderboard so if it doesn't show up at the end of the game, your score's weren't posted in the leaderboard. I reported it to firemint on their support website and they said they are looking into it.
I would love proper iPod integration. It's annoying to switch between RR 2 and iPod, especially if RR 2 loses sounds when switching.
@Watabou thanks so i can try making tracks over and over again until the leaderboard show up? you got that achievement?
Here is somewhat of a solution: http://getsatisfaction.com/firemint/topics/pacemaker-i1py2 Don't try the track again and again if it doesn't show up but do what the above link says. It worked for me. I don't have the pacemaker since I didn't beat career mode yet.
There is a button there that says "Reassign GC". This allows you to change which account CC that you GC name is assigned to.
anyone have little lags especially on race start and while too much cars in one frame ? im using iPT4
yeah im always on 15-25 free ram while playing RR2, 256mb(really 160mb) thertanly not too much for retina resolution on iPT4
This game is ridiculously good! Every aspect of the game is very well though out and it's just so much fun. Thanks for making a truly great game Firemint!
Does the 3GS version have all the same fx etc as the iPhone 4 one (minus the resolution of course)? I'm a total graphics geek and I read that on 'older devices' the game switches to a tweaked version of the RR1 engine. If I'd get RR2, a big reason for me would be cause I'd love to see what they did with the engine.
Well here's two screenshots to compare. Obviously the top one is the from the 3GS and the retina one is below. The main differences are the jagged edges and the general grainy look from having 1/4 the pixel density, but it still looks pretty good.
As I get better cars, I find it harder and harder to master turns without overdoing it. I need some more time for practice now...Grrrrr...
At this point I'd say RR2 is fantastic as a game, but the Cloudcell leaderboard function is cruddy on this old 4th-gen iPT. For example, a time on Alkeisha Island was submitted to Game Center, but not to the in-game leaderboard listing the vehicle typle (Up Start Motola) next to the time (0:56.73). That resulted in the time being #2 (for the moment) on GC, but without credit for using a slower 120P car. I've already reinstalled, restored data from online savegame, and made sure that most iOS services such as notification are disabled. Otherwise it's easy to forgive such flaws as the audio disappearing after low-battery warning appear (always require a device reboot), tiny hiccups here and there, occasional freezing after waking the device up, and the somewhat unreliable multiplayer.
Does not look like it. I pay for all of my games (Except for when they go on sale or i get promo Codes) I know that if i pay for the game i am getting the full experience.
