Has anyone contacted firemint? This bug is a game breaker.

I don't think everyone has that bug, because I, and many others, have completed career mode without a problem. So far the game for me has been FLAWLESS! Just make sure you restart your iPod before playing it and you shouldn't have a problem. :)

It's not to do with memory.

theres a thread on the support pages but firemint has been ignoring it.

I restored my game to an earlier save and now it seems to be working again, now i have to grind through the completed levels once more.

True but most people don't have that bug, and if you do happen to get it, all you have to do is delete the app and reinstall it. Simple.

Not a bad time today in Time Trial on Mayapan Beach.:)
I'm so glad I did not have any issues with RR2 so far, and I hope it will stay that way!

Did you reinstall it using iTunes or did you re-download the whole app again?

Re-downloaded the whole app. I'm sure firemint will take notice of what has been said on the forums, I will just have to be patient.

This game is great. Amazing graphics and good controls. But I find it boring. I'm
Seriously already bored of this game. It's just not really any fun to drive around a track over and over.

anybody else find this game boring? Maybe I just prefer a more arcade style racer

I am soooo loving this game! I fired up GT Racing to remind myself of what it is like and while I appreciate having real tracks (Laguna Seca :) ), I couldn't wait to finish the race and get back to RR2.

With some trepidation, I fired up Real Racing 1. Not sure what to expect! What I found was the great racing game just as I remembered it. Seems smoother on my 3GS that RR2 and the graphics, while having a bit less detail, seem optimized for my 3GS. Its a great game that will sit nicely next to RR2.

Question about RR1. Every time I download an update I lose my career status and have to start over. I do sync and re-sync'ed after updating but no dice. Am I doing something wrong? Will I lose my progress in RR2 when Firemint issues updates?

Don't worry about it. My sources tell me that Apple is adding a GTX 580 and an i7 in the iPad gen 2.

No, you did not do anything wrong when you updated RR1.

Regarding RR2, I am 100% sure the same thing will happen.

    Nope.

    *facepalm*

You're totally entitled to your opinion, but please tell me how you enjoy a game where all you do is follow a line, has unreal physics, completely butchers drifting, and exaggerates slipstream, all on top of the typical aracdeyness?

I've never encountered any crashes or bugs in this game, except for the lag that has disappeared ever since I restarted my device.

Uhh, that must've been a REALLY minor corner then. RR2 has a HUGE improvement over RR1 in terms of turning, and there are some maps that feature turns where you have to slow down to the 30s to get around.

Yeah, even on my 2nd gen touch, multiplayer does not lag at all now.

The upside to this is every time Firemint issued and update to RR1 I wanted to see what the improvements were and was further motivated by re-doing the career progression.

But they should fix this, no?
