Well I'm about half way through the game and so far my favourites are the Lotus Exige and the BMW M6. The lotus has excellent handling and good acceleration. The M6 isn't so nimble, but has a good top speed (200 mph+) and I really like the interior.
Been reading this thread and watching videos for 2 days on this game .... was so hoping that the most obvious RR1 flaw was gone in RR2 but it looks like it wasn't .... unrealistic handling Watching videos of a car going round sharp corners seemingly flat-out at 130+mph is just a joke So wanted to get this game.... looks awesome but i know i won't enjoy it because of this 1 flaw.... really really disappointed
Yes - the cars feel different from one another in RR2. A welcome addition to the formula Not sure if manual shift were there if I would use it. I auto shift when I play Ridge Racer, but that's a rather different game. Speaking of Ridge, the original release ran 'slow' in the sense that you didn't feel you were moving fast down the road. One of the updates fixed this as well as raised the overall framerate. Don't know if something similar is planned, or needed, with RR2. I'm getting to the faster cars now and the feel faster. I've not compared like car to like car in RR1 and 2 just yet. I guess we could even compare same car, same speed, on the same track!
Lotus is my fav aswell, but i'm on the World Series now. I guess i will just have to stick with this chevy and get used to it
I've been experiencing a strange crash. So far, this has only happened for the Ubermart Shootout event, so I can't say whether this has happened in any other event. Anyways, after getting all Gold medals in each race, I can't seem to get past this screen: Every time I press 'Continue', it crashes. I tried rebooting my device and it didn't help. Anyone else experience this and knows a way to fix it?
Multiplayer now working fine WOW! Everyone remember that yesterday the multiplayer lagged a lot and the cars "teletranported" during the race? Well, it has been fixed. I've just raced with others GTI and I notice no lag/teletransports at all. Good job, Firemint!
This game is awesome, unfortunately I had to stop playing because I was running out of juice. @rohitz21 I can't see any pictures(tried Firefox and Chrome)
nice, but isn't that just from the pit lane? Where you buy cars you can view each one without buying. I guess it looks cool for the guys that didn't buy this yet.
No, You can't "buy" the F1. It is given to you for free when you complete career mode. I took these from where I can view my cars in my car selection. The F1 is nothing special. It's not much faster of stronger than the other cars. It just something to show off so people will know you beat career mode. I like using it online to show off. LOL
Just raced my first two online races and no lag or problems whatsoever. It was like racing in Career mode but against the living My first race had 13 cars and my second only 2. Turbo, if you're reading, I didn't intentionally abandon our game. I intended to finish even though I had no chance but a phone call came I had to take. Hope to race you again when I get a but better
That's a good motivation to finish the game. I'd love to use it online but i'm in part 2 in Career mode (of the total 5).
I didnt get till there but will soon soo FIX IT FIREMINT ITS GOOD game dont let it down and i was thinking as you said drive throu forest city that you drive on dust in forest but no only the forumla tracks they bit boringgg
