You just made me load up the first game to compare, and I have to disagree. In fact, comparing this directly to the original made it clearer for me what I don't like here. The original simply feels more alive. When I brake, the car noticeably shifts weight forward -- not so in this sequel. In the original, taking corners at speed, I "feel" the weight of the car -- again, not so here. The whole inertia, feel of racing is vastly superior in the original version. As is the frame rate. It's clearly apparent when going back to playing it right after RR2. I expected to be deleting it upon purchasing this sequel, but looks like it's going to be the other way around. Not happy about having wasted $13 on this.
Would love to see a porsche added to the line up but any cars would do it for me. IAP or free update I would welcome it with open arms (and wallet). out in US!

I'm watching the replay now and it's easily as good if not better than GT on the PSP which I played a lot. It looks to be extremely polished and I love how you can take a good look at the cars zooming around them before purchasing one. Graphics are really good and I expect would look even better with retina this may be the most polished game I've seen on IOS yet. Just bought it and played my first race I think it's worth the price it is exactly what I was hoping for.
