    hmmm, wasn't expecting this.
It looks OK, but it doesn't look very different to RS 09.
The graphics look marginally better than 09 but it doesn't look as good as X2 Football or Fifa10. Also the animations look quite robotic like (as they were in 09) and the game doesn't seem to flow as well as X2 Football. The addition of the training mode is welcome, but apart from that, it doesn't look much better (although I could be wrong). Fifa 10 looks like it is going to be better, and it will be interesting to see how successful this will be - with the competition from Fifa 10 (which is a well known franchise, incase you didn't know ;))

Mmm, I think that both Gameloft and EA should look into licencing the Euphoria engine (same one that Facebreaker has). It'll add more realistic animations without having to animate each unique one separately.

    lol.

I still think that Fifa 10 will be better (gameplay/graphically/control/sound wise). And hopefully it will have online mp also.

The proof's in the pudding so we'll have to see how FIFA turns out. But X2 is definitely the top soccer game right now.

    Australia, mate!
What I didn't like about RF09 was that the players movements were too robotic, and their actions did not look like anything you would see in a real soccer match. RF10 looks exactly the same as RF09. This just shows that the developers have absolutely no knowledge of the sport.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought.
It just doesn't seem to flow like X2 Football/Real life football.
Gameloft are #1 when it comes to every other genre on the iPhone. But I agree that they allways balls things up (pun suprising uninteded - I realised a couple minutes later) when it comes to making football games.

According to Pocket Gamer UK, there will be three new game modes, which might win some people over.

Look's interesting but I will pick up the EA one, because they have more experience making football games than Gameloft.

    Can't wait for this one.

I loved RS09, feeling that the only thing left out of it was online multiplayer...

    And then this comes out.

Anyone know if Fifa will have online multiplayer? If it doesn't I'll pick RS10 up the day it is released!

That's pretty good going actually. I was expecting an october/november release. But I expect we will get a bunch of people here whining because they don't want to wait a couple of weeks ;). Anyone know the expected release date of Fifa 10?
