When we're not makin' games we're all about utilities which we publish via our other co - Collect3. If you've ever used Picture Safe, Video Safe, Beatwave, XBMC Remote or even the Boxee Remote, then you are familiar with our work.

Our newest app complete's the circle...the culmination of 2 years making utilities we call it 'one media centre app to rule them all' :p and it launches alongside iOS4.2 next month.

    Update: It is OUT NOW!!!

    VIDEO STREAM 1.0

Streams most popular formats of video from PC/Mac via the wifi's or 3g
Converts on the fly for take anywhere offline viewing
Multiple accounts with Password Protection for err discreet viewing ;)
Oh and it look damn fine too on iPad AND iPhone.

Best of all cause we don't mess around it will launch FREE and as big time TA loyalists we don't want you guys to miss out!

    Free Version: iTunes link
Paid Version (no ads): iTunes link

I'm using air video right now. Only problem is that it doesnt work with iPad OS 4.2 beta. But since its a beta, I cant really complain right now.

From the looks of it, this looks quite a bit better than air video though. And for free, count me in :D

Just a quick update. The app is in review and should be out any day!
Better yet we are releasing TWO versions:

The regular paid version AND a 100% functional FREE version that is ad supported. Works every bit as well as the paid version but pops up the occasional advert.

Try one, upgrade to the other. Either way this is the definitive next gen Video App for iPhone AND iPad.

    Accept no substitutes :p

I'm currently using photo safe and love it, so I expect nothing less than brilliance from your new app!

Can wait- and thanks for being free.

Without wishing to sound like an echo, I'd still like to know if it supports TV out on the iPhone 4?

I have downloaded the free app of video stream and hit a road bump. On Mac osx 10.5.8 the server software will not open as it's not compatible.

That's correct Mac users need to be running a minimum of OSX10.6 (Snow Leopard) to run the movie server application. Have updated the notes on iTunes to reflect this.
    Thanks for reminding me :)

If you can I'd recommend upgrading your OS - not just so you can enjoy Video Stream :p

May I ask what is the difference between your 10.6 server and the other apps that do about the same as yours does with a 10.5 server? Personally I'm going to stay with 10.5 until a month after lion comes out. Snowleopard for many of my friends was a joke with how many bugs it had once it was publicly released. Plus I don't feel that I should pay $30 for an OS when another one is around the bend. My hope is they fix all of snow leopard's faults.

Yeah I wasnt a real fan of the initial release of Snow Leopard but they have managed to iron out most of the kinks over the last year. Hopefully you dont have too long a wait for Lion.
Anyway back on Video Stream we're stoked to see close to 5000 users enjoying the app in the first 24 hours and have many new features planned for the coming months.

Copy of Release Mailer that went out.

    Thanks guys.
