First and foremost, I'm a big fan of Readdle apps and I highly recommend them to readers. One that I do not have is Scanner Pro, but I'm interested. Could you tell me how this app differs from just shooting a photo with the built in camera app? I'm primarily interested in capturing text.
Here's another question. I just bought PDF Expert on sale, but I already have ReaddleDocs. Is the functionality duplicative? Same question for OneDisk, actually, which I haven't bought yet. Thanks in advance!
Okay, not sure if the dev will be back before the sail ends, so is there anyone that uses these apps and knows the answer to any of my queries?
Sorry for a delay. Here we go: 1. For now, functionality of PDF Expert is included into ReaddleDocs, but in the upcoming updates (we're working right now on them) more unique features will be added to PDF Expert. 2. Talking about Scanner PRO, it allows you to make photo, crop part of it, adjust contrast/brightness, our unique engine allows to raise the quality of the document and save/send as PDF doc. (multiple pages) For now, current quality of iPhone camera doesn't allow us to include text capturing engine. But we'll do that, when Apple will make decent camera. xD I hope that I've answered all questions? Feel free to ask.
Bought readdlebooks, I'm pleased with everything but the functionality, it has a bug where it will skip short parts of the text when turning pages, I belive it mixes up landscape and portrait modes.
