Hey, FP! What? A 747 landing in a grassy field?! Ho-Ho! That's RAD!! Well. I've owned both of the other RC games, love them! So I gotta get this one, of course! Gotta, say, though, flying through hoops is just SO yesterday IMO, but I'm sure, knowing you, there's plenty of other modes to play with! Don't know when you're gonna be ready to release this, but I'm ready to grab it NOW!
Great thanks ! About hops, you are right, but they are also fun, and this time they are kept flying by quadcopters First release of game will have 3 game modes available for free : - Free Flight - Air Rally (hops) - Coin Rodeo But we have a huge list of fun game modes that will be adding with updates. First update should make it in time for christmas with Multiplayer game modes and some other surprises.... About release date... We have just submitted the game to apple for review, so.......
Here are some of the latest screenshots of RC Plane 3 coming from final version submitted to Apple . more coming soon
Device requirements With RC Plane 3 we wanted to have a solid base for future updates and have it grow in the years even better than RC Plane 2 did. To do so, we had to cut support to older devices, so RC Plane 3 minimum requirements are : - iPhone 5 - iPad 4 - iPad Mini Retina - iPod Touch 6th gen game might somehow work on older devices, but i can ensure you the experience won't be nice. and Great thanks drelbs !!
Wait, runs on the iPhone 5, but not on the iPad 3? They basically run the same hardware? I have an iPhone 5s so I'm fine, it just doesn't make sense.
iPad 3 is powered by the A5X, iPhone 5 has the A6. Not only is the A6 CPU/GPU faster than the A5X, the iPhone 5 only has to render/output to 727040 pixels (1136*640) while the iPad 3 has 3145728 (2048*1536). So less power to cover 4.33x more screen...there's a reason so many people were disappointed with the iPad 3.
spleen answered very well. Unfortunately the iPad 3 has never been a nice device to work with, and even running the game at lower resolution has the cpu struggling due to physics and draw calls. Game will run on iPad 3, but view distance and general experience will be far from nice....
