Dunno but there's comments from people who updated and had all their progress wiped. Don't know if it was for this version or a previous one. Just looking at the app store entry. I haven't installed it yet. Also had it previously from the Starbucks POTW. I don't think it's gone freemium. It was last updated two weeks ago when it was still a paid app. Not sure what levels there are to unlock (maybe the 20 new ones?)
Free in US store Edit: looks like the "unlock all levels" option is so you don't have to unlock them by beating earlier stages. As far as I can tell I was able to download the additional levels for free as well.
From reports in my app store people are losing their save files but someone's suggested saving in the other slots. Free in Australia too.
I deleted it and reinstalled but didn't lose any progress! Although I had to redownload the new levels!
Those of you on Android might be interested to know that Amazon has matched Apple's price drop to $0 for this game.
Maybe I'm just too old but this game holds no appeal for me. My 5 year old son loves it tho! Thanks to everyone at touch arcade for the work that you do!
I reinstalled the other day and all my progress was saved. However once I downloaded some of the new levels and completed a few of them, my iCloud save seems to have bugged out and was wiped. I'm assuming this is most likely due to it trying to save progress linked to in app downloaded levels. Oh well, there's no way I'm going back to play it again, moving onto Fiesta Run now.
Runners are my favorite games. Been waiting for this to drop for awhwile and I'm diss appointed . No leveling up or saving money to buy upgrades. Lacks so much
Thanks again. This game looks so much better on my note 3 vs my ipad 4. Colors so much better with amoled and framerates too seem so much better, and also this game plays much better in widescreen format.
