Russ's boar story is hilarious. But I almost cheered when I heard him talk about programming on a ZX-81. That's where I wrote my first games, too, and I can still make a semi-serious case that that was the best computer I ever owned. That was back when 16K really meant something, damnit!
Hmm... I'm hoping for tomorrow! Tomorrow's Tuesday and as we all know tuesdays are...... iTunes update day! Always a ton of updates and game releases on tuesdays. Fingers crossed at least.

by the way I used to program the Timex Sinclair 1000 - was that the same as the ZX-81? I think I had the 4k expansion pack for it. damn tape drives never worked right - but when you got a game that was able to load it was totally sweet. I had this asteroids type game using "*" actual asterisks... the touch keyboard was terrible, and you couldn't erase anything or change lines.... You could spend hours on a program, screw it up and have to start completely over. Thank god those days are over!
