6 hours seemsa bit less and I cant emagine "more than" meaning 3 or 4 more hours. I was hoping for something that took a really long time. But is there replay value aftr you've beaten it?
Anyone remember the good old days of quality console RPGs? With console games like Final Fantasy, Chronotrigger ect they seemed to shoot for 40-60 hrs playtime for $40-$60. Now that the engine is done I would love to see expansions at or below that price point, $1 per hour of compelling gameplay. Just my 2 cents. Really looking forward to the release, day one purchase for me!
That's a bit of a worry actually. Why can you do the side quests more than once? Is it to prolong the game or something? Just seems like a really odd thing to add in.
There's nothing to worry about. Der-Kleine is just being cagey because he's been asked not to say anything about the actual content. (So was I, for that matter). Suffice it to say that whatever side quests can be repeated have a good reason for being repeatable -- it's actually pretty funny. (This is the last time I'm posting, Josh, honest!)
I get what it means... Like getting items for a vendor and getting paid.. Or hunting something... Things like that!
Are there any big cities or are there just a couple (or one?) little towns? Can you do rooftop jumping? Steal from stores? Get chased by guards? Attack civilians? Swim? Jw. Just thinking about a TES-like game on my itouch makes me feel like a man again.
you start off in the main town, and then theres another small "settlement" you might call it, and various NPC's that are scattered around the lands. hope that helps.
Look at this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33TaFjF7Mro Slide to play's new hands-on. Shows footage of dialogue and going into buildings, plus the usual rat bashing. It looks like character interaction is going to be very good, and choice-based at times.
i cannot believe i missed the chance to test this all the way back then... oh well! i was gunna get this one anyway!
Something really cool in an expansion would be making a lot of quests based around a big city. I bet alllll the TES fans, who are probably your best fans, would jump for something like that.
And that the page where NothingLikeSleep said Ravensword was released is also gone? And that NothingLikeSleep is In Time-Out?
Since seeing so many fans of TES here Josh, could you assimilate more elements of oblivion/morrowind into the expansion? That should please alot of people here on TA. And while on the topic of expansion, how much will it cost and how much content do you guesstimate it will have compared to the initial one?
Nevermind the expansion, I will just be happy with the game. I think they deserve a long rest before even thinking about an expansion pack Looking forward to the release. Thanks everyone for the friendly/informative posts. I am finding them very useful
