Not so good news, unless additions will take place in an upgrade. I was so hoping to see this in the app store within a few days...
Personally I wouldn't even take one if you offered it to me... I will buy this day one to support you guys, this game is one of the first major efforts make real high quality RPGs for the iPhone platform. I want you guys to succeed in a major monetary way. If I could have one wish it is that when you do make bucketloads of money you publish your revenue to encourage other serious devs to invest in games like these.
A few days? They'd have had to submit the app a few weeks ago for it to be released in a few days! I so wish apple would get some more app-approval monkeys!
This game has truly been a struggle for both Russ and I, mentally, and physically. We work 7 days a week, all day long, all night long, save a few hours here and there to play with our kids (and parrots). Thats not me begging for buyers but just telling it like it is. I'm sure other devs have similar stories. Its not a glorious lifestyle - so if we do make money, we'll be happy campers, and we can't wait to (in that case) work on Chapter 2 of Ravensword. I've already begun working on ideas and concept art for part 2!
I stand as witness of these guys' determination. They're pretty freaking relentless. The game has made tremendous strides since the first build I beta tested, and even as it nears submission date it's still getting better. It's been a priviledge to have played a tiny role in their project.
