Looked at the new screenshots on the website(actually, i dunno how new they are). Fire looks silly, but it's as good as it gets on the iPhone, the dungeon shot with the bones and the shrooms looks great, hell, all of environmental art looks great
MR.josh, im am really curious about the price. Can you put something like a special sale for its release? Make it like 2.99 cuz thats all i have right now and i really want this game. Zenonia is just plain ugly. But this. This is the true rpg! so please? I beg you. I really want this game. Screw off Zenonia and dungeon hunter. This is all im looking forward. Please do not destroy my destiny to be with RAVENSWORD. REMEMBER, 2.99 IS ALL I ASK.
He says pricing will not be lower than $4.99... and Zenonia is a good game... so is Dungeon Hunter...
oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Sniff Sniff All hope is lost... goodbye Ravensword I hope that Josh would change his mind... I... am... screwed...
What I meant was the special sale price would not be lower than $4.99... the original price after sale is going to be $6.99. Sorry to burst your bubble. Maybe Josh'll change his mind?
i really hope so. i mean this is the only game i want. I feel stupid for wasting the other 12 dollars only useless apps. i wish josh will change his mind soon or now...
You could always get another iTunes card during Christmas or something. The game won't be approved until around November...
like I've said in the past - we don't know the real price other than it will be under $7. Because the game is not finalized yet - (publisher is taking a hard look at it now) we want to see what we are offering before we price it. If we think its worth 6.99, we'll make it 6.99. If its only worth 4.99, we'll make it 4.99. What determines the price? Market indications - pricing of similar games. Dungeon Hunter is 6.99 - Crusade of Destiny is 9.99 - some of the 2d rpgs are 3.99 and 4.99. Also the amount of content in the game. So don't count your chickens just yet - a decision on the price has not been made.
IMO, the game should be priced in the $4.99-$9.99 price range. It's definitely worth it. If you release the game at a really cheap price, people will expect to to be a so-so game. Since Ravensword seems to be on par with Dungeon Hunter, I'd release it at that price. Gameloft doesn't drop their prices often, and neither should you.
I'm thinking that this game will be huge... Very huge!! Unlike Crusade of Destiny with it's odd controls, this has a more "graphic" taste in a gamer big time!
