Well I for one won't mind, as pusblishers do help with the finacial workload so as long as its comes out not broken I won't mind.

I'm really looking foward to those DLC, you have me drooling lol

Thank you all. The support from this forum has been phenomenal, and helps compensate for not having seen the sun for months.

To self publish or not to self publish is a difficult decision... there are all kinds of things I would like to polish and extend, but in light of our financial situation, they get pushed down in priority in favor of just making a complete game experience.

Whatever happens, if we make enough money to keep going, you can bet that all those things will get polished and extended :)

no matter what, it's better to be quick; otherwise gameloft will clone one similar and sell it first (hey they got 4k employee you can't beat), while doing your real relase, this clone one will drop to 99 cents that hurt your sale.

Are you insinuating that Gameloft is like Walmart?

Considering the manner Gameloft leaks screenshots and videos you can safely bet theirs is already submitted and will be out before Ravensword. But I wouldn't worry about it too much. Theirs is a different style. Gameloft is going for the Diablo/Underworld stye while ravensword is going for the oblivion/The Quest market.

Plus the long term is great for Ravensword. Gameloft makes short one hit wonders with no long term vision for depth, perfect for a young start up to sneak in. And for long term success the Ravensword staff is highly active with the gaming community, a must for future developers. Gameloft tends to avoid it...aside from marketing strategies.

Nice screenshots, but is this another game where we will fight with wolfs??? What is wrong with you people - are you nuts? In every damn RPG I'm forced to kill wolfs - is this some kind of developer's perversion or what? Did you ever heard about peoples attacked by WOLFS??? This is sick. Please create some monster instead of bloodthirsty wolfs... I'm not a Greenpeace guy, but when you run any RPG and there are tons of rats and wolfs to kill - this is so f*ing stupid and mindless that i can't play through it, and I need to exit the game before I vomit.

I don't like Gameloft games because they are shallow. They have nice graphics and all, but they never update the games (with any content). They just check what kind of games are not yet in the App store, or if people are anticipating a game very much, Gameloft makes a short, but good looking and appealing game of that type.

Don't worry too much about it - wolves only attack a few times in this game, and they aren't everywhere!

Yeah, it's kind of strange that in BG 1, 1 or 2 Wolves attack your party of six level 5-7 guys. They have to be quite desperate :D

If your gonna get a publisher, get ngmoco. Atleast they update their apps, and they are really in to the online/internet-market!

Get ngmoco. The plus+ network is well polished and achievements are what keep me coming back to games. They are really into online multiplayer.

Its gotta be within 2 weeks, and we should be close to submitting
to Appstore by then as well (if we do not use a publisher of course)
