guys heres a link to the interview that Russ and I did. http://www.powso.com/?p=2081 I'll be putting a few screens up in a bit here.
Cool. Speaking of building up a community. Have you updated the site with forums yet? Whatever shape it's in I'll buy. So you can count on AT LEAST 50 packs of ramen to keep things going.
I think this is the time where you say: Brazilian Rider! We NEED your amazing beta testing skills and your 1G AND 2G iPod to help make this game as good as possible! We know you've beta tested countless other apps like Com2Us' Sniper vs. Sniper and A&B: Advanced Warfare, iBlast Moki and much, much more (as well as the creator of the OFFICIAL, yes, official, Critically acclaimed Beta Tester's Pub here at TA).and we think we could use someone with your experience and your enthusiasm (after all, you emailed us about 300 times!) to help make this game something special. I'm sending you an email/private message now with the download to the .zip and mobileprovision file. ---------------------------- Am I right? ...Please?
I didn't have a chance to read the whole thread...but, has there been any mention of a price? (just a ballpark guess?) This game looks quite promising...
The blog they just posted a link to stated the price would definitely not be more than $7. If I were to make a guess, I'd say maybe $5?
I know that Russ is working on the experience points system, that will allow your character to extend his health/strength/agility/stamina. You may have seen that tab in the inventory menu in one of the screens I posted originally. So you will be able to build up your character and achieve a certain rank at the end which we plan on having transferrable to the expansion pack. I cannot tell you in detail how far we are going to get into this aspect of the game, as there is SOOOO much more to do. If Russ wants to talk to it, he can, otherwise, what I told you may or may not be true!
Thanks for the reply, I'm curious to know how the character grows, what kind of stats, attributes and that kind of stuff. Some action RPG are not very focused on stats, like Hero of Sparta. Basically I'm just wondering, how do you level up? Do you get points to distribute? What about skills? Maybe for the next batch of screenshots we could take a look at the menus in the game, I'm already impressed by the graphics, let's see what's under the hood!
As long as this comes in at the $7 price point this will be a day one buy for me, if for nothing other than the dev involment on this forum. Keep up the good work guys!
I already told every RPG-Fan in my school with an ipod touch / iPhone about that game, I hope you guys will get a huge success with it! *can't wait =(*
Zenonia is a fun and cool game, but hardly an RPG. If this pulls even a quarter of what Oblivion does with an RPG engine, it will be many times more the RPG than Zenonia is.
I think Ravensword will show us what is the REAL definition of RPG on iPhone. I hope that my iPhone 3G will be able to launch the game.. I really hope to play on my 3G until summer 2010, where we get absolutely new iPhone Quad. Not a Update of 3G like 3GS, but absolutely new iPhone.
This game looks fantastic! Will there be different kinds of attacks and how do you change between them?
