"There's no such thing as bad press." Josh, Russ, don't worry, this will only help. Only way it wouldn't is if another similar app came out first and drained 'votes.' I doubt there is one around.
Oh bugger. Well, I'll be playing computer RPG's for the wait. Hopefully it's (and it will probably be) a success.

Oh, Oh found this great new product from Apple, anybody else seen it yet? Gives a whole new meaning to "playing with Apples products" http://frothygirlz.com/2009/10/23/apple-does-it-again-the-itit/
Wow Just came on to reply to some thread and saw the front page...Damn Storm8 guys!! I was so Psyched about this game and now THIS!
Well, if I had read the article linked in the front page I would have known there's already a class action suit filed against Storm8. Doh! And hooray! On second thought, I just know they're gonna settle outside of court. Companies always do and get away with it.
Noooo. Ahh so disappointed. Hope it can be fast tracked. Still I can stop checking TA every hour! For some reason I'm just not interested in buying anything else from the app store at the moment until Ravensword comes out. I'll go and play Undercroft, Underworlds and Dungeon Hunter some more. Might get Drakes Fortune 2 for PS3 just to tide me over...
Me too ! i was shocked when i saw the words "'Ravensword' and Many Other Unity-Powered Games Rejected by Apple" .
Dang it all... No worries though Josh! I'll still buy it! On the bright side, I have some extra time to finally beat crusade of destiny before I totally never think about it again... because of this.
That's really too bad for the Dev's that the game was denied submission for something pretty much completely unrelated to their game. Look on the bright side though, you just got another positive front-page write-up with over 60 comments already. Just more publicity.
God! ...You pee on one kid and suddenly everyone uses it as a simile to express bad feelings. Lesson learned.
Thank you all for the kind words. It helps me hold it together. I couldn't sleep last night, and ended up decimating my weekly beer supply in search of sweet oblivion. Ended up drunk, mad, and wide awake. Now I'm hungover, mad, and wide awake. Luckily I had completed my caffeine detox. I may have spontaneously combusted had I still been on that binge. I don't think I've ever been this angry and this incapable of doing a damn thing about it.
If it makes you feel better, you're not alone. In October of '08 I had my first pro paying piece of writing accepted into a poetry anthology (this in spite of my not being a poet). It was set to come out for a horror convention in March, but got delayed. Then it was set to come out in June in time for the Stoker awards. another delay as the layout artist had problems. It finally came out in late September, and had all sorts of problems, the least of which was missing page numbers. The publisher pulled it, had the editor redo the layout (as original layout guy refused to work on it), and it was made available again 2 weeks ago. This time it had even worse mistakes. The editor (and now my business partner) got the rights back, the former publisher pulled it yet again, and we'll be putting it out ourselves early next year. Frustrating doesn't even begin to describe what I've felt. In fact, the only thing that's made it bearable is the support of the other writers, and their faith in myself and Rich to do it right. Sometimes all we can hold onto are the intangible things, like fan support to keep us going.
Well look on the bright side. Maybe it will go into review faster because apple just know your submitting the fixed version
