Quick answers: Build, no. Buy, yes. You can also buy furnishings. No vampirism, no werewolves. You get most runes by working through the main quest. There are more types of runes in Ravensword: Shadowlands. Cooler powers, too. The last two questions are for Josh and Jason.
Vampirism and werewolfism(or whatever it is) wouldn't really work in a game that doesn't have a night-and-day cycle. Not that its a bad thing, just pointing something out.
This game sounds so immersive that I might die if I play it... ...then ressurect myself so I don't have to stop playing it.

If this comes out early I'm putting the overly complex and unintuitive baldurs gate to the side and delving into this instead .
