I'm counting on that gameplay video to satisfy my hunger for an RPG. I really want to see the new animations, inventory, abilities, and all of that good stuff. The jumping animations in RS1 looked like a frozen statue was attatched to a string and then moved up and down. The overall type of game I'm looking for is a nice, mideval, first person game. I was counting on RS1 for that, but the camera switched to 3rd person whenever I used my bow. And Ravensword 2 is all of these things. So, naturally, when I watched the trailer I peed in my pants, changed my clothes, and peed in my pants again.
I would too if I had the maney. Although, I will probably end up upgrading my phone just for this as soon as I can. But I totally agree with you. Doesn't it look amazingly epic? In fact, this game is ACTUALLY on my Christmas list.
I hope it will be optional settings, especially Bloom, since sometimes its too much for eyes if overdone.
You cant choose races (I think). There are only 2 races: humans and dark elf - and they are at war. You play as a human (same in RS1, shame on you if you havent played it) against the dark elves.
As pointed above, there are only two races (human and dark elves) and at the beginning of the game they have just engaged in a "final" battle. Obviously there are goblins, giants, trolls, and other creatures familiar from the first game. But no allied races.
if there any hint on the price of release? for now i have 6$ in my account but i think i'm missing 1$ more
The game looks freakin' amazing! (understatement) The epic music combined with the slow mo combat! Gasp! The arrow to the knee joke was actually pretty funny. Gameplay, graphics, and music are waaaay better than expected! Yay! The Forest music OMG. Dang!!!!
