Yeah. RS1 was very short, but a freaking amazing game. So much fun. Love the idea of a contest too! I will have to keep checking back to see how many enter.
Why would a mini-map be pointless? I'm a RPG fan, but it's been a long time since stop considering me a hardcore rpg player (sometimes i doubt that i even was) and for me one thing that really annoy me is the lack of direction in a game, specially open-world games! Maybe it's my fault, but still... Like Aralon. Yes, there is a map in the menu, but its not really pratical to pause it everytime i want to know if i´m going to the right direction! Some times i just open the game after a long time and have no ideia which quest i was doing and where to go. A mini-mapa with a little arrow pointing where to would be nice! Sure it can spoil the fun of an RPG to some, but if you want you should be able to turn it off! This arrow thing like Skyrim would be nice to, if you can chose which quest your toggling and have it giving you a general direction where to go!
A main map would be pointless because you can press two buttons and you have a full map. It also takes up unnecessarily space (which is very important on mobile). And in RS2 you'll also have a compass (like in Skyrim - kinda). I think that a quest arrow spoils it way too much though (so an on/off option would be nice for that) or another cool thing would be if you could set up your own map marker and then an arrow would be guiding you there - this way you would know where you have to go and it wouldn't spoil anything, since you set the marker by your own.
I finished it cause I console commanded my way to victory,it was more like cheats but it felt like console commands,I thought it was funny xD
right now we have local map of your area, and world map for fast travel. If you've already visited an area, you can fast travel to it later. Trying to do a thing where we can make the local map more accessible from the main screen.
From that site katoku that josh said I thnk that's what it's called, "I don't think there's that many people interested in playing deep rpg's on the go" lol who wouldn't want to play in depth RPGs on the go, that's why I get them, and to pass time
Looking forward to this! Josh, can you elaborate on what the differences are between this and Aralon (features, not story/art/background)?
We just added a mini map, which you can access by tapping the compass indicator. In the inventory we have the world map, which is used for fast travel.
I'm so pumped for this game!! But I noticed that crescent moon games is making a bunch of different games at once, I think that if you focus on one game then you could finish them way faster IMO I just thought I should point that out
I believe this is the only game they are currently making. They are, on the other hand, publishing a lot. As well as Forest Moon.
yeah this is really the only one we're making at the moment. All of the others (with the exception of Topia because its basically done) are games we are publishing.
Argh! Here we come again. Just like with Aralon. Why am I so susceptible to rpg games hype? I hope you won't leave me hanging for a long time! I bet before christmas release (just like Aralon) is what you are aiming at, isn't it? That's too long! BTW: I hope you are working on your soundrack. I was going crazy from hearing most of Aralon's tracks. Especialy the first big city. Had to mute it every time so my head wouldn't hurt. So intrusive... Edit2: And that is not how you hold a bow on a hore
