We are most certainly off topic here, guys. If you absolutely need to discuss this, feel free to create a pink dildo thread in the lounge, but I suspect Eli will have a problem with something like that
Looking impressive as usual. I like the detail in the armor, much better than a flat texture made to mimic ridges and dents.
Hasn't been decided yet. Apparently RAM issues. Shame if they will have to exclude it-huge install base.
I see, the leaderboards can definitely be fun. But about achievements: if those friends are real life friends then you can meet, show off some achievements, drink a beer and make a LAN (or a Bluetooth) party anyway.
Some are RL friends, some are people I know from forums, etc. that I chat with over IM, IRC, etc. Doesn't matter how I know them. We compete, period. Same way we do with Xbox 360 achievements or PS3 trophies, etc. There are some games I have that no one else I know plays. But achievements still makes me play the game more to earn those achievements to see if I can do it. Even if there was no competition with a friend, I find that achievements greatly extend the life of a game for me.
That's what I meant And I just cant help it, I find RPGs extremely boring. But the combat in this looks really good and it could be a game changer for me - for the better of course.
well its definitely an RPG, there is a lot of dialog. At the same time, the combat is pure action, so you might find that more fun.
Hey Josh, we will see any new video, except the 5 secs from the Unity preview? Maybe you can add 5 more secs and make an awesome teaser The game looks fantastic, can't wait for!!
Games like NOVA 3, which are unplayable on an iPod, should be either made to run at a decent framerate or just state that they aren't compatible. Devs trying to get a big game to work on 3 year old hardware is a bad thing for everyone else because it prevents "progress". That said, if the game runs on an iPod, by all means make it compatible.
I'm a little ashamed to admit that I'm just now playing through Aralon...how did I miss that? Anyway I realized the ENORMOUS amount of concent in that game. The world is just massive and there's just so much variety in the creatures, loot, everything. (giant ants ftw!) I'm always coming across something new. Will Ravensword 2 be like Aralon in that the game world will be about as big and there will be roughly as many different enemy types?
