I was just struck by the way he phrased the comment. Almost like a threat... In any event, the game is retina on the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. Can't speak about the iPad 3, since I don't have one.
As long as there aren't jaggies everywhere (no AA) a la NOVA 3 with iPad 2 settings on, I could care less if this is full retina for iPad 3. Would appreciate extra effects for a5 and/or a5x devices, though...
This is the reason... im going to upgrade to the ipod touch 5th gen just in time for this game.. hey, any word on if this is going to have multiple storylines like the elder scrolls games? like: there is the main questline, there is the faction-based questline (recently stormcloak and imperial war), there are skill-based questlines (college of winterhold for mages, and probably my favorite skyrim questline)... is rs2 going to have that? also... is rs2 actually going to have a mage class? rs1 didnt really have a mage class, and i felt something was missing...
Not sure what you mean by retina on an iPad 2. iPhone 4, 4s and iPad 3 have "retina" displays. The iPad 2 has the same non-retina 1024x768 screen as the iPad 1.
+1 for bows and ranged combat! Also a female character would be nice although there's none because of the story,
When is this game arriving to the app store??!?! the last post i saw from the developers is from march. this game looks great and has been in development for awhile now. now i am wondering if it even is going to get a release date. they originally said that is would be released in mid summer. when is it suppose to be released now?
The last post from the developer was 2 days ago; they have been contributing to this thread regularly. They have never given a release date beyond 2012. The game is very much under development (as the action on my RS2 DropBox folder can attest) at the moment. The latest alpha build I played (from July) was pretty darn playable.
Here's that interrogation I warned you about, Josh might have to use that cyanide tooth after all! Just how big? Substantially bigger than aralon? Is there full voice acting? Bigger skill trees? Roughly how many different types of enemies are there? 10? 20? 50? Do they have different attack methods and strategies or are they all pretty much reskinned identical enemies? I'm really wondering about this one: in the screens, there were realtime shadows. Are there in the game, too? Is the combat semi turn based like Aralon or hack n slash like Skyrim? Roughly what's the framerate? Don't know how many or any of those you can answer, but I'd sure appreciate it.
