Does anyone know how much we need to fork out for this gem? Just for next week, i'll up my weekly budget to $60, coz looking at the "upcoming" thread, it'll be premiums galore, and a happy week.
Equipment actually has a different look to it for each one, right? It isn't just the same thing with different stats? What're the slots for equipping, I take it head, shoulders, torso, legs and feet? Btw how many different pieces of equipment/weapons are there?
Different types of equipment have different looks (long swords vs broad swords, etc); there are also special and unique armor and weapons that have their own appearance. You have an armor "slot" that covers chest, arms and legs. You can also put on different shoulder armor, helmets, and shields.
Is there some kind of rarity to it or color coded? How will you know what you are picking up is better than currently equipped stats?
Equipment is organized by material and quality, similar to Aralon. You can inspect equipment before you pick it up and compare it to your current gear. There is a nice amount of equipment in the game (and way, way more than in R1), but R:S isn't a KRPG-style loot fest. To put it in context, the game is more like a combat-oriented, Western RPG themed Zelda than Skyrim, despite the superficial appearance -- with Aven working as the central town in Ocarina of Time. The main differences are that there's much less emphasis on puzzles (though there are a few) and that the whole world is essentially unlocked from the get go. R:S also feels more grounded than Zelda, with a physics engine that allows things like knocking enemies off of ledges and jumping or flying up to locations that seemed at first innaccessible. Don't get me wrong: there's still a ton of RPG elements -- stats, abilities, loot, etc. In its heart, though, R:S is more of an action adventure game than a hardcore RPG. Personally I think that's a great thing, but your mileage may vary.
Thanks for the info. What about the moustache?Guess we can't?Just curious Oh, and will the game run fine on the iPad2?
More info on this please. @Fil2 i think you cant customize your characters face once you create it. But as they said there are many kinds of facial hair to choose from at the start.
Yup! Actually, I haven't even found ONE that didn't have some kind of magical properties yet, so there's definitely PLENTY of cool items to check out.
