Thanks. I also realized I've been concentrating on the side quests, I think I'm going to go back to the main quest for now, maybe that is more level-appropriate. I was also thinking about grinding on the Goblins, I'll have to give that a go, too.
I beat the game the first time through on hardest difficulty, but after that update the first person sword attack is so fast the enemy just stumbles backwards and can never attack u... Way to easy on the hardest difficulty...
Really want to get this game, I have done since it first came out but I was put off by people saying not to buy it due to bugs and crashing. As the game has been out a while now, I was wondering if its much more stable now and has stopped crashing? Thanks
Yes, and hopefully the content update will be here soon, I want more quest, most if not all of the bugs have been fixed...
How long is this game? I want it but I want a time investment. If it is a 10 hour Rpg it isn't worth it. I am looking for 20+ hours.
£4.99 for a 10 hour rpg is worth it. All depends on how you play the game, you could get 20+ hours out of it.
A high quality $7 RPG with 10 hours of gameplay is not worth it? Oh right... I forgot this was the iOS scene.
Ur expecting to much from sosiety I work at a city market and one thing I learned was if people can b@@ch and moan they will, and then they'll put the d@mn a@@ shoping cart in the corral backwards and almost run u over while driving in a zone where no one is supposed to DRIVE... Rave rave rave... Sorry, well what were we talking about?
I finally finished the game. I have a bit of mixed feelings, in that the obvious comparisons must be made to Aralon. Technologically, RS2 is a HUGE step forward. Aralon was a bit of a buggy mess. RS2 has some bugs, crashes once in a while (maybe 3-5 times in my entire gameplay on my iPhone 5, but the autosave does a good job, didn't lose much progress any time), but overall I would say it's pretty stable. Plus it's a really beautiful game. However, the storyline and content in Aralon was much deeper. (Though Aralon was $3 more at launch.) RS2 feels a bit short, although I believe the dev that more content is on the way, and since I played Aralon after it was out for a while with many updates and additions, some of the comparison may be unfair. Having said all that, the biggest question would be -- was it worth my $6.99? Damn straight it was. The gameplay was really fun, and it's a very enjoyable experience all around. For sure a must buy for any fan of the genre. Not every game will be better than the previous one. I very much look forward to their next title, whatever that may be.
I love playing this game. I don't think the 'auto run on-off' is doing anything. My character is still just running recklessly all over the place. Also, for the sake of all that's good and well, just fix the crazy swipe-look lag! I know it's prob a difficult fix, but don't be lazy about it and correct the issue so all of your gamers (and many potentials) can really view this game as a 'gem'!
we started to work on it but got a little side tracked by another rpg project. we're also trying to get it working better on older devices.
Now that i have completed replaying Blood Roofs, Invader Hunter, EPOCH., ME Infiltrator, and a few HdO games on the ipad mini, I have more time for Ravensword 2 and i have to say, this is definitely one of the best games on mobile EVER. What Crescent Moon gave us here is the future of iOS and mobile gaming.
Sorry, for the slight off topicness but what are the names of the 2 other rpg projects you guys are working on?
Have you had any issues (i.e., bugs) with "leveling up" getting stuck? My issue at present is with stealth, but it's not the first time I've had this problem. My bow skills were stuck at some level for a long time.... I used the bow almost exclusively, killed more creatures than I could count, and there was no change in my bow skills level. The way that I broke this cycle was that I "trained" bow skills up at the crags -- and it seemed like like once I'd "pushed" my skills with training, I was then able to advance levels normally again. The other area in which my level is clearly "stuck" is in stealth. I hide almost constantly. My bow skills are at 160, my sword skills are right around there -- and my overall level is around 30 -- but my stealth has been stuck FOR WEEKS at 23. Given how much sneaking/killing I've done over this time, it's clearly a bug. It's wrecking my enjoyment of this game. (1) Any suggestions about the bug in general -- and anyone else who's had similar issues? (2) I can't remember: is there anywhere that I can train in stealth...? If I could train, I feel like it might be a workaround (the same as it was for my stuck bow skills), but I can't remember whether I've seen any stealth trainers...?
