If you are asking when the game will release in Europe/UK, just over 4 hours from now.

I noticed that some games like Lili and Arc Squadron are able to set the device requirements to exclude the iPhone 3GS, 3rd gen Touch and 1st gen iPad. Perhaps you could do the same here to avoid confusion over those devices at least. The 4th gen iPod Touch would then be the only remaining discrepancy.

Perhaps this could be available as an option in an update? But I suppose that rather than solve the debate it'll probably just shift it to complaints about performance if people just assume that if it's available it should work well.

Yeah the iPod 4 is still the main issue really...

from the gameplay video it seems like there are some problems with attack distance, so basically you can reach further than the length of the sword. a question is can you walk with armed weapon without the game automatically turning this off like in previous games? and why there is no female char creation? i am not asking for something like in the daggerfall or battlespire but the option would be great. and maybe for people who already played this game and like good rpg games, are there some improvements in story and quests?

not sure what you mean by 'walk with armed weapons' do you mean loaded bow?
I believe the quests were improved, because now you can make decisions, where as before only had one choice. Its much deeper in that respect. Some quests where you make the 'correct' moral decision, you are rewarded with better reputation.

Ravensword 1 had a male main character, so does this one. That's not saying that Ravensword 3 couldn't have that. Aralon 2 definitely will.

Yeah, with this very helpful clarification from Square and Josh on what now seems like rather sophisticated melee mechanics, I can hardly think of an iOS game that has appealed to me more. All this night now needs to turn truly ridiculous is for Heroes & Castles to perform a stylish late arrival.

(And it didn't help that the 7th Humble Bundle for Windows/OS X just hit, including, among others, Shank 2, Legend of Grimrock, The Binding of Isaac plus expansion, and Dungeon Defenders with ALL freaggin' DLC. We're lucky t'is yuletide, so that we have nothing more important to spend money on than digital entertainment for ourselves...)

What be this fast travel sorcery of which you speak?

Real men slither and worm from place to place.

i mean that just walking around with sword in a hand all the time, so no auto putting it back. well having female chars would be great, thanks for answers.

ah I see. yeah it will sheathe a sword if its equipped and you don't use it for awhile. we were going for realism, I figure you can't always run around with a sword, its easier to run with it on your back :p but it is a good point to bring up.

Seeing all the posts fill up over here has got me really excited for this game. I was never into games like Skyrim but this game might just change that
Really off topic, but every time I see your avatar, I see Sheldon Cooper, haha

Ravensword just hit the Kenyan App Store! Downloading... (And here I thought I was going to have a good night's rest before playing all out tomorrow...)

Why didn't they add Swahili, either? Or Nahuatl... think of all the indigenous people in Central America trying to play this game on their iPhone or iPad.

Edit: See, the guy above me bought the game on the Kenyan App Store. Bet he would have loved a Swahili translation.

Outside of "can this game run on device x" Josh has answered "yes" to nearly every feature question heh. It's like they put in everything *and* the kitchen sink. Almost too good to be true :)

There's a pretty major bug when you reach the volcano, though, where you can get infinite rupees by constantly throwing a respawning jar at the Goron by the entrance.

    ...

    >_>

    <_<

    Mm-hmm.

    You can't be serious?

I'm happy they even got the English translation right, the game was obviously not translated by the same guy/gal who writes on their website.

we'd love to add all of the translations if we could, but having a small team its really tough, especially with a game of this size and you can't imagine the amount of different sections of text... Especially now that quests have multiple parts!
