I spent ages trying to figure out how to reach that chest, but I got there eventually. Spoiler I had to rank up my jumping talent points, and use the Ring of Jumping, then I managed to jump up over the rocks to the left of the chest. I would like to see a lot more secret stuff and hard-to-reach items like this added in future updates. It would encourage exploring and could extend playing time by hours once the quests are completed.
Yup... That appeared in my sky too. Worse however, is the fact that it also appeared on the very last level of the game! Rather ruined the epic-ness of the "shadowlands" with that dumb chestplate hovering right where I needed to go. I could walk right through it, but it was a visual distraction. Also, to the developers: You all should really look into balancing the enemies in this game. So far, I've discovered that the hardest to defeat enemies are these: Cave Trolls - frustrating, because while they are the first enemy in the game, they are also one of the few enemies that can knock you down every single hit. Being that these are the "first encounter" enemies, I would lighten them up a bit. I think a lot of newbies are getting scared that this game will be too hard, since the first enemy is actually one of the hardest in the entire game. Goblins - Oh God, the goblins in the Tangelwood Marsh are ridiculous! Thankfully my health was super-high, because I did a lot of grinding. But when a group of 5 of them (or more) get on you, you cannot move. Reason is because every time they hit you, your character flinches, and when he flinches, his action cancels, be it defend or attack. With all of them hitting in a row, you basically just sit there and die. I think you should remove the stupid knockback, or at least let my character swing regardless of what's attacking him. A few tweaks like that could make some combat situations much less painful. Oh yea, one last thing that I'd really like to see addressed in an update: Could I please be able to aim lower than the current view allows. I can look down at my feet, by the aiming-ring doesn't actually go down that far. This is annoying, because if an enemy is below me (let's say I'm on a ledge), I can't shoot at him. Why? Because my lazy character doesn't want to aim all the way down like he should.
The floating equipment issue is fixed on the next update, but until it becomes available all you have to do is save, hard quit the game (remove it from the fast-switch doc) and restart.
Ditto. The first thing I did when I finished the game was hop on the Pteradactyl and fly around the perimeter of each area with the mini map on to find any hidden areas like caves. Unfortunately, I only found two caves that I hadn't found while playing through the game.
That's awesome to hear about more content. From what I recall, there was only a single quest and one cave in The Crags. Seems like a lot of work to create such a beautiful area that one can complete in 10 minutes. Seems like there is so much opportunity to add things to many areas on the map.. Hopefully any content that gets added is very challenging -- towards the end of the game (even before getting the Ravensword) my character felt far too overpowered.
Can anyone post a vid of themselves actually managing this please? I need to know I'm jumping in the right place? It's the 2 rocks by the tree by the fence right? If so where do I need to aim myself? I seem to hit an invisible ceiling that stops me going too high then I slide down the rock on the right and glitch into it at the bottom?!
I disagree... you use your right thumb to look/aim in all directions when you are walking/aiming weapon, not your left. So it makes sense to use the right thumb to aim up and down as well while flying. Think about it... when walking you use your left thumb to move forwards/backwards as well as sidestepping. Well you can't control the forward/backward motion of the pterodactyl and there's no reason to sidestep so that leaves the right stick. The pterodactyl flies in whichever direction you look.
Yea, just like almost every outher flying game... I got it right away, thats how u fly dragons in the dragonborn expansion pack...
So josh, I'm using uniy 4, and I had the giant flying 3d object in the sky in my game too, how did u fix it on ur game? Is it because it fell through the terrain and attached itself to the skybox?
That's awesome! The game's gonna keep getting even better. Out of curiosity, the auto-run feature is gonna be editable in a update?
