Universal Ravensword: Shadowlands - (by Crescent Moon Games)

I'm level 17,where should I be grinding and who's quests should I be doing?

 

Great game! This is the first game in a long time I can't put down.

I mostly hunted yetis and bears in... I forget the name. It's the area to the west of South Aven with the guy with the caravan. I mostly did it for money. Now I seem a little overpowered.

Edit:
Speaking of the guy with the caravan, what's the deal with his daughter? I helped her out, then nothing happened. I thought that would have been more eventful.

 

Has been fun so far, like skyrim lite.

However... I am a sneaky bowman mage build, with 140 magic and 140 bow skill, and only 35 sword skill, so cannot even scratch, much less kill, the elven prince using a elvish dagger or whatever it is.., havent used a blade since goblins!

I have hit him 30+ times before dying and he has no noticeable change in hp.

This is frustrating... This build has been viable the entire game, and now this?

I heard the AppStore is now up again (at least there's a thread where several people have stated as such), does that mean we'll be seeing the update soon?

 

It looks like it is back up.
Going to hopefully submit an update tomorrow, but we still have one main thing we need to fix.

 

Ok, I'm a low level and need to level up quick, where should I go?

 

start by killing boars in the eastern forest, then head over to the goblin ruins, past lamil's cabin.

 

I've done that, where to next.

 

It would be great if new armor and weapons were added. Like 2 handed swords! And some more daggers

 

Same problem here.......... I do not think we should be forced to use a dagger after using only a crossbow for most of the game. It makes melee build the only viable option. Maybe there's a trick to beating him? Not sure.

 

I'm finally stuck.

Wow, Appspy really didn't take to R:S at launch. It throws around terms like beautiful failure but leaves itself an out by saying things can improve with updates.

3/5 review. I take all reviews with a grain a salt, but this is enough to make me wait a few more weeks.

There doesn't seem to be another Rpg of this scope and quality. It will be worth the wait (And I doubt something bigger will come out by then - especially considering IB Dungeons will be a totally different beast).

General Game Discussion Thread

 

For anyone else that is a ranged/mage build with close to no sword skill and only base 10 strength, who cannot kill the elven prince. You can shoot him through the gate with a bow, killing him before the cutscene and dagger fight, just stay back away from the gate , going too far triggers the cutscene.

This isnt a great workaround, especially since if you are a pure mage build, you cannot hit him from the distance necessary, but it works with a bow atleast.

Please fix this Josh, as currently only melee builds can defeat elven prince properly.
