    Completed Game

I just finished the main quest, and all other side quests other than House of Carrowen since its bugged for me.

Going through the quest log, there really aren't that many quests in this game. The areas are so large, but so empty, my impression of the game got worse the further in I got and began to find everything so easily. All that is left is to wait for the patch and finish Carrowen.

The achievements are also bugged, didn't get any of the reputation achievements despite doing everything.

    Other suggestions:

    -Add more stuff!

-Optional double tap, doing that acid/block moving quest was aggravating as sometimes I would activate the run through double tap by moving and selecting the wind power and run right into the acid. Annoying.

-Optional or sheath button, I hated having my character out his weapon away right before beginning a fight with an enemy.

-More life everywhere! Such a great world but so empty, the Council building was just for that
last cutscenes really? I always went in thinking there would be a quest but nothing other than that.

Great framework for a good game, needs more content. Seems like they spent 3 years developing the tech and didn't spend as much time filling this amazing world up. Also the quality and density between areas is so polarizing, the swamp/dinosaur area is really well detailed but compare that to the ice mountain area and its so desolate and blah.

Can't wait to see where this game will be at after a bunch of content and bug updates.

How do I get the second Raven stone?

Can someone help me retrieve the second raven stone? Starting from when the archmage tells you about the quest. I have no clue where to go.

I don't mean to be condescending, but it's the fourth or fifth time that I've seen the question asked. My expectation for this time of game is that anything that is not obvious requires a bit of searching around. This key (and the other one later on, or the ring of jumping, or the solution to the water nymph riddle)) are not that well hidden -- looking around for a couple of minutes will yield the answer. Compared to, say, Ocarina of Time, the puzzles here are remarkably straightforward. I am curious if most folks are approaching the game in a casual way, in which every problem has to have a ready and obvious solution.

I understand that I have to fight the Elven Prince with the knife, but am I supposed to lose all of my armor, potions, etc? It seems nearly impossible to beat him naked with no spells or potions. Will I get my inventory back??

    Done

Thanks for the tip on getting the Carrowen tournament quest done. Just finished it without bugging out.

Despite that I received none of the reputation achievements except the first one. Really, really lame.

Is there a compiled list of all quests?

Also, what are the max your stats can go?

Question to the devs. Is the innkeeper Salir in the game a reference to Gothic?

Could you make his timeout permanent from -every- thread, mods? I've seen nothing but hateful words and spiteful intent from this guy in every thread he goes. Not one post has been constructive or of value. He seems to simply thrive on antagonizing others and nothing else.

Oh and on a separate note to JoshCM, while this has nothing to do with Ravensword2, the thread for Pocket RPG (iPhone edition) is pretty dead so I'm posting it here. Pocket RPG got pretty much broken in the last update, and I wanted to make sure you were aware so it could be fixed. I love playing that game between other games when I want my Roguetype-meets-Diablo fix scratched.

It seems to have a corrupt update submitted to Apple (I think). Half the water effects are missing/black triangles, and it crashes after the first boss when on the summary/reward screen. After reloading, it shows my progress of finishing the level, but no coins/stars. I started a new Dark Hunter a few days ago and discovered this, but just dawned on me to mention it here perhaps for a speedier solution.

I think his claim is valid? He quoted me. The game is lifeless in most areas. The areas are but there isn't much in them. The size to content ratio is like 10:1.

It is definitely possible to beat him with only the knife. I think I killed him in three or four hits without going below 60% health. I don't actually know if you can use potions or spells because I didn't need either.

You'll get your stuff back after the fight.

As for the person who can't find The Crags, look a few pages back at my post on page 116. Some major hints in that picture.

You'll get your things back after killing him. I spent almost every point on strength so it was too easy.

Okay, partially to see how long the game was, and partially to exploit the weapon enhancements stat point glitch, I played though the whole game a second time. So far I have yet to go to the shawdowlands, but I have collected the Ravensword, as well as completing 12 out of the total _ side quests. (How many side quests are there). However, I got to the point where I am now in only 153 minutes, and I have been casually timing myself, and it seems about correct. I assume finshing the main quest will add another 20 minutes, bu that still puts me under 3 hours. Furthermore, even at the highest difficulty, I am able to one shot elven guards with my crossbow while in stealth. The highest difficulty should actually make the game harder. To the devs, I think the next update should include more quests as well as a harder difficulty.

Ok so I finished the game in 613 minutes. I think I completed all of the side quests (are there more than 16?). I don't know who said 30-40 hours for this game, but I can't imagine how anyone can put that much time into a single playthrough. I dinked around and ground out levels plenty. Having said that I definitely want to go through the game again to play around with different specialties and higher difficulty. It is certainly worth the entrance fee and a highly enjoyable experience.

I would say that this is a great game, but there are certainly flaws that detract from the experience. Aside from crashes that will hopefully be addressed in the next update, there are some issues that I would like to see addressed:

    1. This game is beautiful, and the environments are beautiful, but graphical glitches abound that pulled me out of the experience. In addition to the floating armor and layered inventory, there are mountainsides that don't seem to connect to the ground, and other cracks and seams that are not very tight. The overall presentation is fantastic so these stand out all the more. It would be nice to see the visuals cleaned up in a few places.

    2. We really need different icons for the different runes. It would be nice to be ably to use different runes from the quick slot menu, but when the icon looks exactly the same this is just confusing. I shouldn't have to look at my inventory to see what rune I have equipped.

    3. Inventory management is a pain. Yes you can separate weapons and armor but it's all in one big line which can be cumbersome to scroll through. Also it would be nice to show a count of similar items. If I pick up 20 goblin shields, I would rather not have to scroll through all of them. A sell all would also be nice.

With some additional areas and some tweaking this game could be truly amazing. It is a great game now, I really enjoy the soundtrack and the ranged weapons. Highly recommend it.
